It's a great little space close to Bicester town centre. Nice for walking the dog's. Paths are ideal for wheelchairs & prams. Plenty of benches around to sit on. Nice variety of equipment, including swings for younger children, basket swing, huge see-saw, zip wire & great hills with tunnels that the kids can crawl through. Lovely pavillion & wishing well in one of the gardens. There is an area for skateboarding too. Cafe on site is absolutely worth a visit.

Two years since I left the review below! It's even worse now 😒. It's a shame but the smaller parks are busier and in a better condition. Come on Bicester council! Garth Park is looking tired.. In the last 2 years I've reported the roundabout as faulty.. I needs new bearings but nothing has still been done about it! Poor show for an easy fix..

Great little park and play area for kids of all ages. Arrived quite late (6.30pm on a Saturday evening) so nearby ice cream shop was closed. And 20p to use the loo! Bit excessive in my opinion. With no change o didn't get to use them but would hope they're very clean if paying that much. Good lawns etc for picnics.

Garth Park is a great place for young and old. For the young it has skate ramps, a well equipped play area with water feature and plenty of room to run around on. For the more mature patron, there are quiet areas for relaxing and enjoying the outdoor atmosphere. It has a little cafe on site but check for opening times to avoid disappointment. There are many events held here throughout the year which are very well attended. From concerts to Teddy bears picnics, something for everyone. The grounds are very well maintained and always clean. There are toilets on the premises but it could do with more. It is close to the town centre if you needed supplies but didn't feel like carting it all about. Parking is the only issue as there are only about a dozen spaces to park. Locals are aware that they are better off walking in and some will actually pay to park at one of the town's car parks. All in all it can be a good day...

A favourite park & gardens when in Bicester shopping. Great for families couples singletons. An amazing safe enclosed large play area for younger children with good variety of equipment is popular. Dogs excluded. Pleasant walks for dogs & owners. Good footpaths for disabled users, also wheelchair pushchair friendly. Cafe offers snacks drinks hot food very good & clean. Free car parking. Litter & dog bins provided . A skate park too. Weddings held outside on Bandstand or in the large capacity Registry rooms. Public toilets including Disabled close to Cafe & Car park. Easy to walk to from Market Square or Sheep Street Shops. Park Staff keep the gardens well maintained, a good variety of trees shrubs flower beds to enjoy. Open areas for play, or ball games & quite areas too plenty of seats around the park. So pleasant to visit & friendly users to chat to. Just love visiting with...

Lovely well kept park with a range of kids play equipment suitable for all ages of children. Disappointingly the water feature play area was not working and the cafe is closed on a Sunday and Monday. This was very disappointing as we had driven an hour and a half to get there to meet up with our daughter's family who had also driven a similar time from London. There are a few free parking spaces near the entrance, though the nearest toilets are in Claremont car park just a short walk away. These are 20p to use but you can use contactless payment. People have moaned about this but to be honest I would rather pay and have toilets that aren't vandalised and that have soap, paper and hand...
