Muffin Break — Restaurant in Cherwell District

Fantastic food, but service when it was busy was appalling, not expected given then number of people serving. I went with my friends and three of us were in the queue. As we queued some people came in behind us, and instead of serving the three of us who were waiting, the newcomers were served immediately. We mentioned this to the staff but not an eye flinched. When I was served, my friend was next and again, instead of serving her, some random guy was served from a group behind us. I picked up on it at this point and told the staff that he wasn't next and my friend was waiting, but again, no one flinched or looked at me or even apologised. It was appalling behaviour. I absolutely love visiting my local muffin break in Banbury and am a regular every week. The staff are fantastic. Always so friendly and welcoming and they remember our order from week to week. The tables are normally cleared as soon as they are free and wiped down. I feel comfortable that whether in a group or on my own for a quiet coffee and a read. If I had my choice I would bring back the chocolate muffin. It was my absolute favourite. I also think perhaps they should switch the flavours for the days sometimes as if you can only go one day a week then you always get the same flavours while they are on the menu. A young lady from the stafF at muffin break in Castle quay (07.02.2018 around 5pm) was unpleasant, disrespectfully. She wasn't commercial at all. She was insolent. I used to come there but i will not come back anymore. This young lady need to be train to be commercial, respectful, There was no incident, she wasn't just work and serve.
