Under the new management team in store, this place has improved a lot from where it was, if you went in before and was put off, I would recommend giving it another try now! Amazing coffee with some amazing workers! My coffee tasted amazing, as did my tea cake! The customer service was totally on point too! The store was busy but tidy. Another review by a David Parker, was very inaccurate, I was there when it happened with my daughter and he was was nothing but rude to the two people, who was working very hard to try to get drinks out, everyone else in the line also waiting for drinks, told him how out of order he was so if he felt embarrassed, it was his own doing ! I was also back the next day (because my coffee and experience was so good) that I also saw the lady who was with him, come in and apologise for his behaviour! Massive well done to the lady and guy working :-) I’m definitely going to be returning!

This place has massively improved from the cleanliness to the atmosphere and attitude of the staff. The staff are incredibly helpful and insight into recommendations when ordering. I would like to shout out trai who makes amazing drinks and always had a smile on her face. All in all a lovely place to relax with your favourite drink.

Thinks it's a fairly new coffee shop, pleasantly decorated, super clean with loverly staff. Coffee tasted good and was of a medium blend. Definitely worth a visit if you're sick of the likes of café Nero etc

First time in here, on recommendation of my family who has been several times, and attended today. Staff were polite enough, but poor standard of service. Took forever for the coffee drinks, even the hot food beat them to the table! Cold cakes made it to the counter last, although they were dry as a bone (coffee cake and orange/passionfruit sponge). Table (and chairs!) were grubby and not cleaned. Asked for a cloth to wipe the table, in the hope that someone would have offered, but they took me at my word, rinsed a new cloth and handed it over😉😁🤦‍♂️. Wiped tables and chairs, asked for serviettes to dry them table off with, was passed 2 🤣. Asked for spoon for cappuccino. Asked for sugar and was told they were in the pots on the counter - hadn't spotted the single one left in the bottom of the brown sugar(!), my bad🤦‍♂️🤣. Mug had bits stuck to the outside, but then a member of staff seemed to be trying to repair the dishwasher (and getting frustrated by it 😉😁🤣).

Apparently, not usually "as bad" as this.... But with such a huge offering of other coffee houses in Banbury, why would I bother to take the...

Awful coffee and fairly poor service. I've visited various Coffee#1 branches and they tend to be fine, so I suspect there's just a case of bad staff or training.

I've been in twice to give it two chances. The food and cakes/pastries are perfectly nice, but that's no surprise. The coffee on the other hand was absolutely terrible. I asked for a latte on both occasions. The 'barista' simply doesn't know what they're doing. Both times they have completely overheated the milk, as well as over-frothing it. On one occasion the server scooped awful dry foam from the jug using a spoon. On the second occasion I threw it straight in the bin - there's no point going to back to get it remade if the person fundamentally doesn't know how to make a simple coffee.

The quality of the food gains this place no more stars - it's called Coffee#1 and you're a coffee shop. Teach your staff how to...
