Armisteads — Restaurant in Chesterfield

In my opinion the best bar in Chesterfield town centre. We had a wonderful small party here for our Ruby Wedding. Luke, the manager, is the most friendly, professional, accommodating young man you could meet. Food is not served at Armisteads, but you are allowed to bring your own food. The basement cellar was extremely useful for storing the food platters until we set up the buffet (also for storing our presents until we could collect them later in the week). Had a private party here on Friday night and cannot thank Luke and the staff enough. He was so helpful and accommodating, and our guests had an amazing evening. We had a good chat with the owner too, who made sure we were well looked after.

The venue is stunning inside and outside, and the staff were fantastic on the night. They even let us bring our own food and decorations, and helped us clean up at the end of the night.

The cocktails were really nice, and we all felt well looked after.

My husband and I recently had our joint 30th party at Armisteads and wow!! We were so impressed by the reception we received when arriving with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and shown our area for the evening. Luke checked in with me throughout the night to make sure everything was ok & took our gifts downstairs so they were safe and out the way which was very much appreciated!
