Been waiting for a long time to vist this tearoom as it came recommended by a family member who had seen good ratings online. But we were disappointed I ordered a Yorkshire tea but in our opinion it wasn't Yorkshire tea. It was very weak and barely warm and coffee wasn't very warm either. The food was good. I had a ploughmans lunch. I received a whole apple on my ploughmans which wasn't sliced and i had terrible problems cutting it with the knife provided. I have never had a ploughmans that has had an apple unsliiced. I would recommend it being sliced before serving or provide a suitable knife. On trying to cut my apple my crisps on my plate went all over the table and on the floor. The window we were sat next to was full of old cobwebs. The salt was wet in the salt shaker and we couldn't use it. Service was fast and friendly staff. Sorry but we will not be...

I feel compelled to write a review due to my recent experience here. Not only the staff members were friendly, attentive and went out of their way to make our lunch fantastic but they also kindly accommodated my dietary requirements. I am lactose intolerant and I was served the most delicious vegan afternoon tea (first afternoon tea of my life). I was also given multiple sandwich and cake options to choose from. Instead of worrying what I will be able to eat, they made my afternoon a joy. If you have special dietary requirements you might need to let them know in advance though as they need to source the right ingredients. I loved my visit so much and will definitely be back. Outstanding service and...

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing afternoon tea at Old Stable Vintage Tea Room, and it exceeded all expectations. Priced at £22 per person, the value is exceptional. It served as a delightful venue for a baby shower, offering an extensive array of sandwiches and cakes. The free tea refills were a nice touch, and the availability of complimentary parking on Sundays made the visit even more enjoyable. Nestled down a charming side street, the quaint location adds to the overall appeal. The decor is lovely, and the staff, adorned in old-fashioned aprons and head scarfs, truly contribute to the vintage atmosphere. I highly recommend Old Stable Vintage Tea Room for a delightful and...

Found this stylish tea room on the internet and decided to pay it a visit. We weren't disappointed and the food and drinks we had were excellent quality. We opted for a cream tea and a blueberry scone with lemon curd and cream with two cappuccinos. They were great and the service was quick too. There is a good selection of food on the menu and the cakes looked very inviting too. We'll definitely return, albeit that the Old Stables is twenty minutes drive away from our home. Now we know where it is and have found the best car park (West Street Short Stay) we can get there quite easily.

Very nice little cafe, lovely afternoon tea, the staff were very friendly. The only thing that I would say is that the little pathway to the café, would benefit from a tidy up, there was bits of rubbish and a lot of weeds, even if it wasn't the responsibility of the café owners, it would reflect on the business. A few bright flowers or hanging baskets in the outside area would enhance the outside, saying that, I would visit again.
