Duddingston Fry Chip Shop — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

The meat was great and the bread too, i only disliked the chips because when i got home, they were cold and sticking to the bread, i was apalled by the sight of it and i never ate them as my Leccy woke up on the wrong side of the bed too lol if you know what i mean. It's a shame i couldn't heat them up. Great customer service. They are lovely at heart; truly never insult someone who fixes your food . I could tell you another story along these lines but i'm not sure if i have enough space to summarise it on here now; since i've already met my goal. The food is decent, however I ordered a fried pizza supper and it came in a box that was far too small. So for whatever reason, they thought it would be a good idea to fold it over...it was a mess. Also, I went in and ordered chips and the guy said he was going to make fresh ones. The woman then started telling him the ones that were there would be fine to serve. He kept saying they had been there too long but she was adamant they were fine. I appreciate that he made me fresh ones regardless of her opinion, but her attitude really put me off. I ordered a home delivery approximately 1720 hrs(less than a mile away) & their website was easy to navigate. It said my delivery was going to be around 1800 hrs. I rang at 1830 to enquire where my fish supper was. I rang again at 1845 to be told it was on it's way. My fish supper arrived around 1900 hrs. An hour and 40 minutes to get my delivery from ordered is not good service. The staff that I spoke to were unhelpful and had terrible customer service training (assuming they had any).
