First time on Thursday myself and my partner decided to try something different to celebrate us on our successful move to somewhere new and we thought we would try Wagamama for the first time but before going I wanted to call the restaurant about some enquiries that I had. But oh dear, the lack of customer service via or about their contact number is absolutely DISGUSTING. Never have I ever experienced so much issues with a restaurant!!! baring in mind I’ve never been before and have only recently moved into the area. Never in my life did I expect to be hanged up on or being asked to speak more clear as they don’t understand what I’m trying to say, I’m english.. so myself and my partner tried calling back over and over again and got NOTHING. So We decided to go in anyways and soon as we were assigned a waiter I asked if I could speak to a manager about the problem I had with their customer service phone and felt it was a bit rude and unprofessional I try not to think anything of it I assume maybe it was a new person who just ended up being overwhelmed or anxious we’ve all been there but then it just got worse from there.. I was then told from the waiter “thank you for bringing this to our attention and I’ll happily get the manger for you as this is obviously a slight problem”… well after speaking to another 3 different staff members about this same issue… I still never got to speak to a “manger” that night. It fair to say i doubt we would be back there again simply cause i feel like if something bad was to happen next time then i’d not be assisted on the matter such as what happened on Thursday night. I get the restaurant can be busy but there was still no reason to why I was hanged up on the first place after being told to speak more clearly, I speak English how clear do I need to be??? And that’s not including the fact we still try to call back after being hanged up and never...

This Wagamama has stellar service every time we are here in person or order via deliveroo.

We usually get seated quickly, although on a Friday or Saturday night it can take 15-20min. The server that usually greets people is very nice and straightforward. The food arrives in Wagamama style quickly in the order they are finished. To our experience, the Donburi bowls take the longest, whilst a Katsu Curry can arrive within a few minutes. A Ramen depends on the night and varies a lot. It can get quite loud inside so be prepared for that, although it is normal for a Wagamama to be loud. The toilets are individual rooms, and the sinks have a tendency to make a bit of a mess. Whilst the toilets are usually clean enough, there is often water spillage and dirty footprints on the floor.

The best thing about this restaurant is the friendliness of the servers, both in person and for deliveries. On our last deliveroo order a driver had messed things up, so the restaurant called proactively to inform us of a delay. Once the new order was ready we were called again to inform us about the new delivery time and they even included 2x free bottles of tropical juice as an apology - even though the overall delay was just 10min after the original delivery slot. They were incredibly friendly on the phone.

The only negative thing we would like to mention is that the sauce on the korean bao buns used to be a standard mayo and we think that worked better than the spicy version, but that’s not the fault of this Wagamama location.

Our food recommendations are the Chicken Katsu Curry, the Beef Brisket Donburi Bowl and the Chicken Gyoza. The cloudy lemonade is an experience as well, a lovely balance between...

We ordered 3 items Soup Ramen, Crispy Squid and katsu curry, we waited for about an hour( which we didn’t mind, thought it would have busy). When the food arrived all of the soup was spilled and just the dry ramen was left with its meat and garnishes. I decided to still eat it because I was hungry, it was cold and tasteless without the soup. Curry and squid was cold too.

Very disappointed I called the restaurant since we are regulars and had ordered take away few times before, I just wanted to give a feed back so they dealt with issues like this, I wasn’t looking for food replacement or offers etc. I spoke to a lady server and explained my disappointment, she sounded sorry and said there is nothing she can do, I was surprised so she offered to call the manager, she came back saying manager won’t talk and it’s not there fault and I will have to get in touch with the Delivroo to complain. I explained I am a regular customer and just wanted an assurance that someone is going to look into this problem and wasn’t looking for anything ( just a well wisher so they don’t have a problems like this again) I was told rudely it’s not their problem and they won’t do anything. My problem is not the server who spoke to me, she is probably been told by an incompetent manager to deal with it rather than coming on the phone. Not a big problem dealt with very poorly which made already very bad experience worst. Incompetent manager serving average food running untrained...

This was a great find, while traveling and freshly arriving in Scotland. On our entrance, the staff were friendly and attentive. I really liked the relaxed and modern decore mix. It has a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was tremendous and we're able to accommodate my wife's gluten allergy for her meal. Her order was promptly delivered and she was very pleased. The flavours were elegantly applied and every mouthful was delicious. My meal was equally delicious, choosing a build my own with their beef brisket , some veggies and sticky rice with a fried egg. Very tasty indeed and the portion was perfect to fill a hungry belly. Finished it off with their double chocolate brownie cake and a dollop of icecream. After a long day of driving and lots of sightseeing , we were happy to spot this place that looked warm and inviting, to grab a meal. Happily recommend!

On holiday in the beautiful country of Scotland. Was treated to an afternoon shopping treat at Wagamama's by my best friend. On entry , the place was filled with the afternoon mixed crowd of shoppers and families eating. We were greeted by a charming server who struck up a conversation with us as he seated us and got us prepared for our fabulous server. He also made use our dietary needs were written down on our mats to make sure our server knew. He also took time to point out food that wouldn't be suitable for me. The drinks and food were spot on. Highly recommend their Matcha strawberry drink ( I'm a matcha everything person) and their lovely Sakura drink. Overall lovely experience.
