If I could leave 0 stars I would. Becca was ok, but seemed like there’s no life left in her. Very quiet and slow, even when we came in and asked for a table she seemed like it’s a task. That’s not the issue here however. If we only dealt with her, I’d potentially leave 4 stars for service. However.. your older male staff - Derrick? I got the name from here on google seeing we’re not the only ones who he treated poorly. Absolute disaster. I’ve never been treated so poorly anywhere I’ve ever went. And I go to restaurants all the time. This was the lowest of the low. He was overly sweet to a table of Americans who are known to leave good tips, to the point it was very obviously fake and forced, calling them sweethearts etc., but he was treating us like trash. My husband wanted to leave after the first interaction with him before even ordering. I said let’s be nice and give it another chance, we came for the view after all. Service didn’t get any better and my husband once again asked me if we can leave after we ordered food, as Derrick dropped another comment that wasn’t very pleasant, I however felt bad leaving an order we already made and food going to waste, so we stayed and I was nice to the server hoping it’ll change his attitude. It only went downhill from there. Beer was horrendously warm and sour, so we asked for a different one, POLITELY, yet Derrick couldn’t help himself and give us hard time for it. Clean your pipes, then you can be offended for a beer coming back. Sarcastic and snarky isn’t what I need from a server. And when we asked if we can pay he answered “Well I hope so”. After we paid he didn’t even say thanks or bye and just walked away. Food was bad, but we didn’t expect much, if the service was nice it would all be forgivable. Not this. I don’t need to be called a sweetheart or receive an overly nice service, all I expect is basic human respect and a bit of professionalism from staff. If you don’t like even a minor question or criticism of sour beer, change your career path. We could’ve left with food getting binned or given you hard time on the spot, but we chose to be polite and peaceful, yet you couldn’t hide your distaste for us. Absolutely shocking...
Read moreAbsolute shambles of a resteraunt. Was left standing about for 20 mins to be seated, was NOT busy, took 40 mins to bring food and I was given a dish I didn't order only to he told what I had ordered wasn't available so rather than ask what I would like, the chefs just decided for me, the attitude received from the staff when I told them I'm not accepting a salmon dish when I ordered chicken was disgusting, to the point the table next to us even passed comment to the waiter about his attitude which just speaks volumes when other diners are stepping in to have words with the staff. At no point were we offered an alternative option, onky1 of us actually ate as the mral had been available and left on the table, no refund or discount offered, no apology offered, I had to demand a manager and some little girl was sent over who didn't even have any uniform on and looked like a diner, she had no idea what was going on and looked close to tears and the end result was she wandered off and was never seen again!!! Best part is, there was a steady flown of customers walking out or demanding a manager that never appeared and to top it off, no response has been given to the email sent to Head Office other than I'm now bein bombarded with bloody advertising emails. Disgusting customer service from a company i once used to be proud of being employed by. Steer clear of this place. Not a good dining experience nor will you receive what you order or any amount of decent customer service but do eat here if your happy to be ignored, overcharged, given what you didn't order and expected to accept that and then spoken to like dirt should you ask any staff...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. Truly HORRIFIC experience. I could forgive the waiters surely demeanour if the food was edible, but the steak salad literally left my body shortly after I left the restaurant. The incorrectly cut piece of meat left gristle I’ve never seen (beyond shredded tires on the side of the highway) floating in my stomach. And if the rubber hidden within the meat wasn’t bad enough, we LITERALLY found a piece of bone inside the steak that my wife mercifully avoided ingesting only because it nearly broke her tooth before she could swallow it. We did point this out to the waiter, who barely acknowledged it before presenting the bill, “steak” “salad” included, and couldn’t even muster a modicum of concern, let alone an apology. Thankfully I left most of it on the plate, suspended on the barely cleaned pile of leaves most places would expect you to just ignore, but these guys called a “salad”. I actually spat most of it out once the cow-bone made its appearance. I get that you may rely on tourism, so you bank on the fact that the majority of your customers either have low expectations or limited recourse to accentuate your many, MANY flaws, but there are places here that care. Save yourself the second escalator ride and go to Zizzi’s directly below, who actually care about your intestinal integrity and overall experience. Or, at the very least, who care if your dissatisfied, because they certainly didn’t at...
