Gogis — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Gogis is a relatively new halal takeaway in Edinburgh, located near Portobello. Everything on the menu is halal, with zero contamination risks. It’s a traditional takeaway, so your only options are takeaway or delivery which aren’t too bad because you get enjoy piping hot food from the comfort of your home. I have tried their chicken tikka pizza, chicken diner pita, chicken wrap and fries so far out of which the pizza was the undisputed winner although everything else was also fresh and made to perfection. The pizza however won because of its authentic flavour and rare nod to authentic Pakistani/ Indian taste. A must try if you need to order for a comfortable and cosy night in.

P.S. please note that nothing at Gogis is too spicy so you have to add in some chilli flakes or hot sauce if you too like your food...

If you love chicken pizzas kebabs even a burger you must try GOGis on magdalene Drive even if you live out with delivery range it's a must try my family love it we lived in the area but have recently moved but we still go back. The owner is very friendly and we think they have the best chilli sauce and garlic mayo in Edinburgh is my family opinion we love it so much we've tried to get them to startselling there sauce in larger quantities honestly best chicken zinger burger in my opinion they also cook to your demand example some like softer food some like there batter crunchy etc you only need ask never had an issue . If there was the lady would fix it only down fall is a TUE they close but even the greatest chefs have a day off. You got to try this place even once but I bet u will return...

I wanted to order for the first time, it was very nice, I liked the food very much. but today I wanted to order by phone for the second time. The woman who took the order was very poor in English. I had a very difficult time ordering. Anyway, they called me back after 20 minutes. I'll tell you that there is only one driver and my house is far away. Then she wanted to take £4 extra driver's fee, I didn't accept it and she told me that your order is ready then it will be the first price.. I have never ordered such a ridiculous order in my life AND WHEN THE DISH...
