Waited at the drive through speaker for several minutes (at least 10) saying āhello, helloā with no response, after a while I just drove round to the window. The member of staff said we donāt take orders here, and asked me to drive round again and place my order with the speakerā¦..? I said āYes you do sometimes take orders here, Iām not going round again mate, sorry. Iāll have two large tower burger meals pleaseā
Three members of staff standing by the service window eating burgers drinking drinks and chatting with the member of staff, who was by the window serving customers. The guy that took my order informed me there was no fillets left, as one of chaps next to him was enjoying the last one, with a huge smile on his face. He then popped a couple of fries in his mouth had a quick drink and then went to examine the already boxed burgers to see if any of them were towers picking up each, one at at a time?! Iām pretty sure eating food and handling food at the same time is not acceptable.
He gathered my food and handed it to me, didnāt bother to say thanks, or sorry for the ridiculously long wait as he was busy chatting to his two dining partners.
As I drove away, I noticed both burgers were thoroughly cold and the fries were at least hot, but tasted terrible and somehow seemed a bit undercooked???? When I returned to complain, there was a queue at the drivethru speaker, that went all the way back into the car parkā¦ā¦ so I decided to cut my losses and just went to Burger King next door as I didnāt want to wait several more minutes for food cooked by those lazy kids.
The staff were young, late teens i would guess, I can only assume no manager or senior member of staff was present, as I canāt imagine even a lazy manager allowing such sloppy practices.

The restaurant is located in an off-street part of the retail park area, next to the car dealerships. We used the drive thru facility and ordered in advance through the KFC app. Our order was made approximately 40 minutes before they closed, which may have had a bearing on the issues incurred. Approximately 40% of our order wasn't available at the time of collection. This included premium drinks and basic sides. Although the staff member was polite enough, no additional items were offered as an apology and instead only alternatives were offered for those items missing from the original order. As you pay in advance with the KFC app, it wasn't realised that there was no refund of the difference in costs from ordering premium drinks and receiving cheaper versions. Also, the staff member was in such a hurry to serve the alternative drinks that it became apparent that their holders are not strong enough to cater for all their drinks and one of them fell in to the car and all over the passenger seat. Showing not only was the holder not capable of holding the 2 drinks but that the lid wasn't either secure or again insufficient. A replacement was given but no apology.
If I do ever use this location again, I may review my times and see if the low stock availability was due to the time of this visit or if they have a genuine problem with their...

Of course, customers were coming up and grabbing the chemicals to clean their tables with as no one was keeping the customer area clean. Bins were overflowing, too. And then there's the food. After waiting over 20 minutes for my order, the fries were cold. I asked the lady at the counter for fresh ones, and she said nothing to me, just binned the ones I had and grabbed me more, except the ones she grabbed out of the fry hold were also cold. They didn't seem to care. They had about 6 or 7 bags for delivery waiting to be picked up, but instead of keeping them in a hot hold or under a lamp, they were sat for well over the 15 mins I sat and watched them going cold. Wouldn't recommend ordering delivery then. They also didn't mark which of the fizzy drinks we ordered was diet, and my dad is diabetic which could have been dangerous for him.
