Subway — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Absolutely shocking service. Got there at 4.30pm and was told that they don't have quite a few things. No cookies, no nachos, no crisps and only ice tea in the drinks fridge. They looked like they were cleaning up the food prep area even though they were still meant to be open for another 2 and a half hours. Fella didn't even apologize when telling us that they don't have certain things.

Honestly the guy looked like he would rather be anywhere else than there, was extremely slow and was constantly sighing at us. I want to add that there was another woman working that day, but she seemed to be hiding in the back with no intention of coming out to do any work. She did come out to chat to the guy after we were walking away.

Also every single table was dirty ...and the restaurant was absolutely dead so you'd think he'd have time to clean the few tables. I honestly was just left feeling annoyed after this experience,...

Got here at 11:00, friends sandwich (basic tuna cheese) took about 15 minutes to make then when trying to order other sandwiches was told we couldn’t have loads of them as the food was still defrosting. No vegetarian options (unless you want a salad sandwich). “Tuna kahuna” pictured. Took 20 minutes to make, didn’t put salad on it until we asked if they could. No cucumber?!!!! So salad is just lettuce. The guy working didn’t really know what he was doing which isn’t his fault, but the young girl (with acrylic nails which I’m sure is against hygiene rules) he was asking questions to could not be less interested. Bread is stale as anything. Juice machine not working. Worst lunch experience ever!!! Paid £5.29 for this smashed...

Today at about 10.40am I went into this subway and was very disappointed with the service I received. I asked for the bread I would like and the response I got was that bread is cooling down, then again asked for brown bread for my daughter and again, we don't have that. Without any apology just a smart look on the young girls face! Then I was asked if I wanted crisps or cookie with my kids pack, I said cookie to then be told that I had the choice of one type as you guessed it they cookies were cooling! I then said I'll remember and not come again at this time as everything seems to be cooling! Again no apology just a smart look on her face.
