Awful establishment. Went in to grab a couple coffees, feed my 7 month old and change him. When we got there my partner wanted to change our son first and we were told we need to be a customer we said we were sitting down at the moment and will take a look at the menu. I asked for 4oz of boiling water in his bottle and the waitress was really polite said yes no worries at all gave it to me with no issues. When I was feeding my son the owner (I think) came over with some aggression to ask what we want and we were still deciding, he then came over probably not even 5 mins later to ask and we said we didn’t want anything (due to the pressure and tone he was giving) he then proceeded to raise his voice and say we cannot just sit in the cafe we have to buy something and that we took his boiling water and used the toilet. We asked how much money did he want for it and offered to pay he then started shouting at us and claiming it’s not about the money (which it clearly was as he was stating) when shouting at us I could see my son was startled and upset, people in the cafe were looking over. We shortly left after this. I have never had an issue like this in any other cafe I’ve been in since my son has been born or ever! Disgusting behaviour no wonder the place was practically empty. We were more than happy to get something in the cafe until we were met with aggression and pressure. Won’t be returning to...
Read moreThe old man used me for working there on the first day for free. I was told that I will receive contract, however after doing my best for 3 working days for Crema and serving customers with my good manners they have decided to pay me by cash for my work, not including the first day I worked for. They didnt give me any serious reason for my termination, saying only that my performance wasnt good. Before my first day I have received from manager( Adrian) the list with the rules that I strictly followed, so I give a guarantee that I haven't broken any employee rules and doing all my best during my shift. The other day also he welcomed me in a team. The last day I was told by manager ( Adrian) first to go on break, however the old man told me to go home as they are not busy in a restaurant and they don't need me. I agreed and listened instructions given to me. After a while I have received the message from manager Adrian that I should ignore the hours for my future work as they have decided as a team to terminate my employment with Crema. As I mention before the serious reason wasn't stated and I am dissapointed and feel betrayed. I am sure this things happening often for new people who start working there,...
Read moreI’m so disappointed with the service I received at Crema. I’m a regular customer and go in often as I love the atmosphere and the staff are usually friendly. However, unfortunately I went in today and upon sitting down at a table (the cafe was empty and it was early - there was one other customer seated), a staff member approached me after about 5 minutes and told me I’d have to leave if I’m not buying anything (I was not ready to order yet). So I ordered a “small” coffee just for arguments sake and to keep my seat and they charged me for a large - not to mention the prices are extortionate in there as it is!! It also took them 10 minutes to make said coffee, despite having no other customers in - don’t tell me I need to leave if I’m not a paying customer if you’re going to take 10 minutes to make a coffee…Needless to say, I left shortly after I finished the coffee and didn’t order anything else - I would’ve done had I not been forced into buying a coffee before I was ready. Such a shame because as I said - this cafe was my go to & now I just don’t want to...
