First of all, food was great and can’t complain about it as it was all perfect. But sadly food service was really really poor. As we came 2 hours before closing we knew we will be in a bit of a rush but would not think we would get kindly kicked out of the restaurant. A few minutes after arrival they already switched the music off and the waiter just stood watching his phone in the corner. I was so excited about visiting this place to try their deserts aswell but we had no chance as we got the bill straight after finishing our mains. We paid and thought of leaving as they already gave us strong signs on leaving the restaurant so half an hour before closing we left and as we put our feet out they switched the lights off. This whole kicking out situation felt really bad for the whole group and completely destroyed the whole experience and we all left highly unsatisfied. Most of our group works in hospitality and we can understand everyone can have a bad day and I do hope the case was only this but as working with food which is such an important things in the daily life, even on your bad days you have to give good service. As much as I was excited about this place as much I’m disappointed. Would definitely recommend the food but only on delivery etc, not worth to sit in the restaurant…

Great food, lamb chops & ribs were grilled very well, the glaze used was light and enhanced the natural flavour of the lamb. Prawns were large and juicy, however 1 out of 4 still had some of the shells on the tail. Good proof of them not being precooked frozen prawns. But slightly disappointing to have to shell the last bit myself. Red pickles and salad were great palate cleansers during the meal, cutting through the fattiness of the meat. Service was great, accommodating for a last minute walk in on a booked Saturday. Very professional in verifying what was ordered. The atmosphere was good, but the music was a little too loud for my liking; but that is personal preference. The large mirrors do enhance the feeling of space but also reflect light awkwardly. They have a slight issue with the door, leading to wait staff having to aid guests with entrance and exit. Starter: King prawns (£8.10) Flat breads (Complimentary) Mains: Lamb Chops & Bulgar Rice (£19.95) Lamb Ribs & white rice (£16.95) Drinks: Vodka & lemonade (£6.25) Bacardi and Coke (£6.45) Overall very good, would recommend.

First visit to restaurant after a number of takeaways, and we were generally very impressed. The restaurant was busy on a Friday evening, which underlines the popularity of this venue, warm welcome from staff. The food was delicious. A number of the staff appeared to be inexperienced which is very common within the industry at the moment, however they were very polite and enthusiastic which was nice to see. Only negatives were the addition of a 12.5% Service Charge to the bill (I didn’t recall seeing this detailed on the menu), a slightly disappointing wine list, expensive and only 175cc measures offered, which didn’t appear to be on the generous side, and no draught beer available, only expensive bottles. However we had a very enjoyable evening and look forward to returning again soon.

Visited twice, identical experience... Great food and mediocre service:

1- I waved at a waiter while he wasn't talking to any customer or anything, he stayed where he was ~ 5m away and signaled a "what?" to me. I said we wanted tea, he said something I couldn't hear cause he was a mile away, so his majesty finally came near and asked "how many?"

2- he distributed small plates on the table, then when we ordered he asked if we were sharing, and I said yes, so he said I should have told him earlier to put big plates. Well, if he needed to know he could have asked earlier, no one walks into a restaurant and declares the intention to share food

3- when the tea came, he brought sugar and then almost immediately took it back and said can I borrow this for another table? And took it without waiting for an answer

To be fair, the same waiter offered to heat the gluten free bread we brought from outside, as one of us was gluten intolerant, this was a nice gesture.

Last time we visited, the same waiter was friendly with the children, but was also not very pleasant with the adults.

Also the AC was either off or maybe they have no AC, it was boiling inside

I don't think I'll...

Let me just say that the food is delicious - fresh, tasty & well cooked. The rest of it was disappointing. The chairs are strangely low, so it feels like the table is up around your ears. It's so noisy, you can barely hear the person next to you, let alone a couple of seats down. Turns out that the wait staff can't really hear either as the order was wrong. If they'd come to check on us after they'd served the starter they'd have found that out before serving up the wrong main. But as it was they just left us to it and it was impossible to get anyone's attention. Mains were served whilst the starter plates were still on the table so the waitress was pushing plates out of the way in order to put the new ones down. Oh and telling us to take our cutlery to reuse. Nobody came to check if we needed more drinks. Plates for the mains were cleared away quickly and then we were just left. No offer of a dessert menu or asking about the bill. It took forever to get someone's attention to get the bill which eventually came in a wooden box and it seemed like they were worried we might steal it, given the haste with which they took it away again. It was all just...
