Rubix Bar & Nightclub — Restaurant in Colchester

It was our first time in Rubix and probably the last. The music is great but the rest leaves a lot to be desired. Please be more clean. The other thing is the bartenders. On New Year's Eve we had fun upstairs and how the bartenders cheated us out of drinks was ridiculous! The first time it happened to us that instead of alcohol we got Coke with ice or other. Every time we bought drinks we had to stand and watch so that no one cheated us again. The second thing is that our drinks were disappearing from the tables. The bartenders took the glasses when there was still half the drink in them. Several times we pointed out, but they did not refund us neither the money nor the drink. It was our first and last time in this club. Worst bar service for us. If the club manager is reading this post, please do something about it. We certainly will not recommend your club to anyone for this...

DONT GO HERE!!! BOUNCERS DONT MAKE YOU FEEL SAFE!!!!!

Came here last night and was really disgusted by the bouncers. My friend got punched in the head upstairs for absolutely no reason, just some drunk guy starting fights out of no where. And the bouncers wouldn't throw the guy out. And they were very very biased just because the guy has a VIP booth.

Our group was told we had to leave or go downstairs when we had just been attacked just because they had spent money on a VIP booth.

THE BOUNCERS HERE PRIORITISE MONEY OVER SAFETY and its disgusting We ended up leaving in the end as why would we want to be in a club where we have been made to feel unsafe and like the bouncers don't care about people starting fights. They only threw the guy out when we threatened to call the police and do him for assault.

Bloody disgusting place don't go here if you want a normal and safe...

I am a wheelchair user and had been in contact with the staff regarding a night out on new years eve. Although the club is not strictly wheelchair friendly this is due to the age of the buildings but the staff were absolutely amazing. The door staff lifted my wheelchair into the club and ensured I had a safe spa e to sit away from the crowds. The staff at the bar were fantastic and the door staff even saw me safely to the ladies room. The atmosphere in the club was fantastic and everyone was having a great time. It is the best night out I have had in ages. And as for taking care of the people in the establishment the staff did indeed go above and beyond. Everyone was treated with respect by all the staff and this was evident by the way the staff interacted with all of the party goers. What a fantastic place with a great concept and impressive staff.
