Beano In The Park — Restaurant in Cotswold District

Goodbye Cirencester, it has been a blast….. Wall to wall sunshine ☀️ for 9 days. Packed up in the sunshine yesterday before the rain came👍.

We will miss our walks through the park, and especially our stop at Beano in the Park for daily Cappuccinos, cakes, pasties and ice cream. We are going on a diet when we get home🙈. Owner Ian and his partner were brilliant, they were so friendly with a great sense of humour. Ian was great with Remi, treating her to Doggy Ice cream and even he gave her a couple of dog toys too🐾😁. ‘Best coffee I’ve ever had and delicious home made cakes.. Realiy fabulous place to visit and our friends thought the hot chocolate was to die for. It was busy, and the single crew staff member did a fabulous job - we appreciate it’s not big enough to hold more than one person working during Covid restrictions and space, but we didn’t mind waiting a few minutes - amazing view, so there was no problem. Very rude lady-payed for 2 sausage rolls and wasn't given serviettes. 10 min later went to ask for some and was asked if the serviettes were for our own food or for the food bought from her. Also was told that we're not allowed to have our own food there although explained that the children had only had some fruit. For the smallest and most expensive sausage rolls I've ever had I think we deserved some serviettes. Will definitely spread the word about the experience. Shame about the...
