147 Nightclub — Restaurant in Coventry

Door staff a discriminative, drove an hour to have a night out, attempted to enter early on in the night and had no problems but door supervisor told me it was quiet so decided to come back later.

Later on in the night when i returned a different memba of the door team claiming to be head doorman refused entry because im from a different city and took me and 2 friends aside and explained we seem like nice lads but they dont need the trouble there, whatever that means, why would he assume we'd be trouble?

Its ridiculous nowhere on the site or the door does it say that entry requirements require you to be living in the city and if that is the case it should be clear on the website so people dont commute to another city only to be rejected.

It was clear case of discrimination! and the door staff memba should be ashamed of himself he seemed scared for whatever reason. Probably shouldn't be working on night club doors if hes going to be judgemental and scared of black people.

Had an amazing night out at 147 Nightclub! The atmosphere was electric, with great music, a lively crowd, and a really fun vibe. The staff were welcoming and professional, and the service at the bar was quick and friendly, even when it was busy. Excellent venue very clean club and toilets, rear heated garden with bar and chill area. Great friendly management and staff, reasonably priced good selection of drinks. Excellent Dj and music and uniquely mixed age range of clientele which is a breath of fresh air.
