Jasmine Indian Takeaway — Restaurant in Coventry

Orderd from jasmine's in tilehill, I live in radford... 15minute drive 20max... orderd at 5pm delivery said between 6 and 6.20perfect.. phoned up at 6.30pm for an update to be told I live 4.1 miles away.. yeah ok and..... and then said I excepted it this time but if you want want order from me again then you can come collect...if you didn't want to have people ordering from you a bit out the way then you need to lessen your radius... I put my postcode in and the restaurants that can deliver to me came up and your restaurant was in the mix with other restaurants from tilehill.... sooo 30 mins went by no food this time he was rude why are you annoyed its me sat there with no food and knowing that once it came if it ever came I would have to put it in the microwave. It finally came at 7.25pm disappointed is an understatement.... freezing curry.. hard and cold chips. Poppadoms turned into the ones that you have when you wake up in the morning all soft and floppy no good to put curry and dips on it.

Even with "traffic" its still only a 13 minute drive away from me. I sometimes order from mcdonalds on fletchhight Street who seem to manage to stick to the time they gave. Sonali balti who also is 4.1 miles away from me manage to bring me my food hot and on time. I suggest that you take the surrounding areas off and stick to tilehill good luck.

I never write bad reviews the only reason why I'm writing this one is because of the pure lack of care with my order. The rudeness when I phoned back after being told half hour before that the delivery driver should be there very soon. The abrupt hanging up with no goodbye because you was...

This is my usual Indian takeaway, so I have a good understanding of the standards and what this takeaway is capable of.

This place has a lot going for it. The food is super delicious, when it is prepared well- which is more often the case. Good flavour, good spice, and good portion sizes. The staff are also very friendly and helpful; when you call they listen and respect you. The food is also well priced.

However, this takeaway suffers from some long term issues. Although the staff are nice, it's a shame that I've had to call them so frequently. Food is almost always late, salad is often bruised and old, and worst of all- the way the food is delivered is too often unacceptable. The containers are often battered, with leaks everywhere. The food is often too oily. Sometimes the food is bland.

It's a shame. I don't know what the flaws that I have mentioned are down to, but I just hope they can do better to fix them. If they are fixed, this could potentially be the best Indian takeaway...

For a small curry house, they certainly know how to cook good food! Everytime I've ordered it's been fresh, hot and delicious full of flavour. The chefs specialities are amazing, if you like a nice spicy but not too spicy curry, the sylhet is gorgeous so tasty and full of flavour, garlic chilli chicken is very good too, no complaints every time I've ever ordered I've always been so happy.
