KFC Coventry - Court House Green — Restaurant in Coventry

Went there today got my order, from a very pleasant young lady, thought everything was fine after a long day at work, I was looking forward to going home, with the food I ordered and relaxing with my family. Got home, started plating the food out and noticed the chicken was a bit crispy and over done, but this didn’t bother me to much as I don’t like the chicken but the kids were already eating it and didn't seem to bother them, so all good, so carried on prepping my food, to notice all my hot wings, which i do like, we’re not there? So i ordered my usual 16, in total 8 came with my bucket and 8 I ordered extra, these we’re missing, so I decided to go back and get them, as I had paid for them, went to the front of the queue and spoke to the pleasant lady that served me before, and explained what had happened, she then sent a very rude, unprofessional and unpleasant person named Vino (spelling of name may be incorrect), I explained again, and she started to argue with me saying she had gave them to me, then continued to call me a liar in front of a very busy establishment! She would not listen to reason and was quite aggressive in the delivery of what she wanted to say! Would not provide me with her name, and advised me no management were on site. Why would I lie about chicken? As I said very aggressive, argumentative and rude to customers, to the point of trying to belittle customers in front of other customers!! Shame on you Austin Drive KFC for hiring such a unpleasant human being the she try’s to intimidate me with the male staff from the drive through and then told me it was my job to check which I reply no it’s your job to get peoples orders right first time it’s my job to pay for it and eat it i then said to her why would I try and swindle you out of chicken wen I have just spent £37 with u she then reply’s again your a lier shocking costumer service n over cooked chicken and missing items not good...

I dined in this place and they did not have any bottled water? Like what kind of restaurant runs out of bottled water and does not restock in the middle of tea time service. There’s a Sainsbury’s only up the road and several shops that sell bottled water at Gallagher retail park which is only a short distance away but no, they decided to serve me tap water with my meal without asking if it was ok with me. I don’t drink tap water when I dine out because I don’t trust the hygiene of restaurants what with legionella being as fatal as it is. I also ordered a krushems with my meal and it was served with a straw already in the drink. The man who brought it to me was absentmindedly playing(using his hand) with the part of the straw that I was supposed to drink from. We all know restaurant staff don’t wash their hands half as nearly as they should so I asked for another straw immediately and asked him not to touch the straw but they just looked at me as if I was crazy. No thank you, no sorry, nothing. Just blank stares like sheep.

I think all their straws should come in some sort of wrap that the customers will open themselves. I also definitely agree with reviewers that say their customer service needs improvement. It was my first time dining here, I doubt...

So i ordered food at the machine,I selected dine in,I got the food in the large paper bag,the lady apologise for that and she give me some paper square plates,I ordered 4 boneless chicken and 3 pieces of the original,in the picture it was chicken drums but I got like 3 random pieces of chicken ( maybe they have to say that you can chose) anyway i asked them if they can replace them with those chicken drums and they did,of course they asked if I touched the food,I didn't do that just looked inside the paper bag,if I would touch the food I wouldn't asked them to change them ( is common sense ) anyway the chicken drums they look like they been boiled in oil probably for some people that they didn't try kfc in other European countries they don't know the difference but what they are selling i am pretty sure is not the original recipe since 1940 ,the skin on the chicken is not crispy is like melted,soft,if you ever go outside uk try other kfc,other than that if you never tried in other places you don't know...
