My wife and I decided to dine at Namaste, firstly as it was recommended by my own Manager, who had visited and dined there a few days previously, secondly as it was the evening before the Bank Holiday Easter break. Parking was easy, both front and rear car parks, although the restaurant entrance is situated by the rear car park, as we entered there were a few diners already en situ, but on first impressions, the restaurant seemed spacious, clean and tidy, (The premises has been open less than a week). We ordered our starters, main meals and drinks, and between ordering and the food coming to table, there was a bit of a wait, however when the food arrived it was well worth the wait, as the starters were excellent quality. Onto the main meal, this did not disappoint either, far from it, the time between finishing starters and main meal being served was about right, overall the food was excellent, the staff very friendly, and the prices reasonable for the great standard of food and menu choices. We were so full after halfway through the mains, we asked for the take out/ take home containers, no way was this quality of food going to waste!! We will definitely be visiting again, frequently I hopešŸ‘. If you are looking for a nice evening to dine out, this is the place. Also if you are ever visiting Coventry, and are here during the evenings, make the Namaste Bar and Grill a place to visit....

Strangest restaurant experience of my life. Arrived 18:33 for an 18:30 booking and was completely ignored for 5 minutes before someone finally came up to us, after which we were handed a random waiter's phone and put on a phone call with the manager who told us we'd arrived too late (bearing in mind international restaurant industry standard is that you hold the table for 15 minutes), and offered to seat us in the bar area if we'd wait 20 minutes, and told us 'you need to know the value of time', which is extremely rude and clearly very ironic given we were less than 5 minutes late.

After this very strange and rude experience we obviously declined their offer of a seat in the bar area. We then had no clue who to hand the phone back to as they'd walked off, and had to circle round the entire restaurant trying to find the owner of the phone.

Extremely bizarre experience - so, just as a warning, don't even turn up 2 minutes late or else you'll be lectured by a random person over the phone and given a table in a pub or...

We visited this place for our anniversary dinner. The place did look good with nice ambience and being spacious. We were looking forward to have nice Indian food. Utterly disappointed when we had to wait nearly an hour to get our starters. Alongside had ordered chole bhature for kid and requested very initially to get it on priority to which the staff agreed but it came last, after almost an hour after several follow ups. What got worse was when our order of egg fried rice came out as boiled rice with some pieces of fried egg. When asked the staff, the lady with no consideration, very bluntly said - thats how we make it. Looks like the staff and chef dont know the fried rice needs to be little fried. Another staff member came and politely agreed to take the rice away. Certainly never visiting this place. Disappointing service and even more disappointing food.

PS. Agreed the restaurant was busy but that makes no reason for unreasonable delays, and utter disappointing food. Thanks for ruining the special...

Quite impressed with Namaste Grill, only around the corner. The owners have spent good money on improving the look. The restaurant was a large space so when I arrived early it was a bit empty but staff were very good. Food was very good and tasty, quality freshly cooked and not dry. Not the best cheese chilli naan I've had. Overall, I'd visit again, quite soon being so close.
