Visited last night with 13 guests for my birthday. Booked a few weeks in advance and the lady on the phone was brilliant. On arrival all was well, and our waitress was a lovely lady called Dawn, she is an asset to the company and really should be front of house, managing the place as the male manager with blonde hair and a check shirt definitely shouldn't work there at all and I have no clue how he even got a job. While dawn was accomodating and polite, friendly and chatty, the male manager was rude and arrogant and argumentative. I mentioned to him that the ice cream machine didn't taste right, very watery and chunks of ice in the mix..... He told me I'm the only one that's every complained in 6 years! We went on holiday to the east coast a few weeks ago and went to pizza hut there, had same ice cream and it was delicious soft and creamy..... Manager told me it wasn't like that at all and they are all the same, what he should of done is said 'oh I'm sorry about that, let me get you a different pudding' and then took a sample of the ice cream and tried it to check. Turns out I was right because it made my husband sick after eating some
I asked for a different pudding for us both and that was too much trouble, even though we had already paid for them. Was told we should only really give one pudding....I explained we've paid for two..... Told well we will do it this once. Honestly never known anything like it
The pizza itself was really nice, chicken supreme with plenty of toppings, the cheesy bites were also good and the fries. Drinks were unlimited refill so no problems there but this place has took things away that disappointed friends. No parmesan cheese shaker, no pasta at the salad bar, real pepsi removed and replaced with the zero rubbish and the ice cream bowls are suitable for a 3 year old
The tables were very sticky and I had to clean it myself. Prices!!!!!!! Omg insanity....£30-£40 for just a pizza! Nearly a fiver to add cheesy bites or stuffed crust. A fiver for a minuscule pot of nasty ice cream. My guests were shocked and so was I
It's put our whole party off ever going to pizza hut again and definitely never back to cv2 at wasgrave triangle. If anyone from management ever reads this then it's time to get a new manager, clean tables, reduce prices, change the ice cream you use and you need to make your mind up about cash or card only and accept both as it seems to change all the time. Was card only when we went, but the week before it was cash only..... Also get rid of the app and go back to people taking your order face to face. The staff can make or break...
Read moreVisited today 12/10/2025. They have an absolutely miserable lad working there. I think he must be a supervisor as he was wearing regular clothes unlike the other staff. He has absolutely no customer service skills. No hello when we walked in. Wouldn't allow us to sit where we asked to sit for no reason. Didn't ask how our meal was either when he come to clear the table. Only thing that he did do right was hold the door open when we left but again no thanks for coming, bye or anything like that. The thing that annoyed me the most is that although we were eating in we had leftovers which once of the nice waitresses had provided a box for. As me and my wife had our hands full with our two small children and belongings we forgot the pizza box on the table. Our car was parked right outside the restaurant and I said to my wife that we have forgot the pizza box so she went back in to get it. When she got there she noticed the box was missing from the table and when she enquired about it she was told by the boy that he had threw it away and asked my wife why we left it. My wife explained our situation with the children and his reply was well it's been thrown away now. Pizza Hut is not a cheap place to eat anymore. You do not expect this poor level of service from what is know to be a family restaurant. I won't be visiting again, well not whilst they still have staff like that working for them. I will say though the girl waitress have always been polite and she did apologise on behalf of the supervisor that the food had been...
Read moreYou can't order from a member of staff any, more, you have to use the app. No I don't mind the credit card only, and I don't need help with the app thanks... but I don't want to use Google pay or put credit card details into the phone.
They ask for a tip while you pay on the app... Well I've not had any service yet! Only refusal to take my order in any way except the app. No I won't be giving a tip!
I don't mind paying up front (did that at the till last visit), but I do mind being forced into using my phone to order. "It's Credit Card Only is that OK?" is a wrong question, "Credit Card Only" is NOT the same as "You'll need to put your credit card details in an app".
On top of that the pizza (same thin crust one I've had many times before) had very wide dough borders and much less topping than I'm used to so wasn't impressed at all. Oh and we paid for the 'extra cheesy' option... well either the standard has a lot less cheese that it used to, or the extra cheesy made absolutely no difference.
The service was the minimal they could get away with. The atmosphere was OK, but we didn't feel inclined to relax over our meal. Just ate up and went, the lack of service and the inferior pizza meant we just wanted to eat up and go.
It's only a couple of months since we went to another Pizza Hut in Turo... that allowed us to order at the table, didn't even have to order at the till, and left us with a much more positive feeling. I won't be visiting this...
