This place is a total ripoff. Balik beer is a nice refreshment but it is now £9.50 a bottle!!!!! Used to come here years ago after a busy week and get smoked salmon toast and creme fraiche with onion. They now serve a few scraps of bread and no onion or creme fraiche by default.

The staff are also very variable in their service. They vary between downright rude and a bit chatty to try and butter you up for a tip. I really didn't want to tip but service is not included. As previous reviewer, I also found the Italian waiter poor. What got me was him pouring way less champagne than other waiters. While others poured to the top of the flute, he would stop half way through. It’s not cheap here so you’d expect fairness. What happened here? The service used to be good, attentive and friendly - now the staff just doesn’t seem to care. Slow in providing menu, not a smile in sight, no hurry up at all.
