Crow Coffee: Brunch, Board Games, and Belly Rubs (for the Dog, of Course) Crow Coffee in Crawley has cracked the code for a perfect café: great food, brilliant coffee, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve found your second home. Whether you’re there for brunch with family or just to spoil your dog, Dougie, rotten, this place has something for everyone – and I mean everyone. The food is nothing short of spectacular. Brunch here isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. From buttery, golden toast piled high with avocado to fluffy eggs that could moonlight as clouds, it’s a feast that has you humming with happiness between bites. The coffee? A revelation. Strong enough to kick-start your day but smooth enough to make you savour every sip. And for dessert, or as I like to call it, “bonus brunch,” their cakes are a work of art. There’s a moment of indecision when you try to pick just one – so naturally, you’ll leave with two. Or three. No judgement here. But here’s the twist: they have games. Forget your usual café routine of staring at your phone or awkwardly scrolling through emails. Here, you can challenge your family to chess, checkers, or one of the other board games lying around. Nothing beats sipping a latte while absolutely demolishing someone in a game of Connect Four. It’s like being in your living room, but with better coffee and fewer distractions from laundry piles. And Dougie? He was treated like the absolute king he is. Water bowls were ready, pats were plentiful, and no one even blinked when he sat down to “supervise” our game of chess. This isn’t just a dog-friendly café; it’s a dog-adoring café. Dougie was basically the unofficial mascot by the time we left. The staff are the cherry on top – warm, friendly, and effortlessly attentive. They make you feel like family from the moment you walk in, whether you’re ordering eggs or awkwardly explaining why your dog is sniffing another customer’s backpack. Crow Coffee is a place for everyone. Whether you’re there for a competitive board game, a lazy brunch, or just to let your dog soak up some well-deserved attention, it’s a gem you’ll keep coming back to. Five stars – and an extra one for the chessboard, because I haven’t felt this smug about winning a game in years.

Absolutely fine until a staff member said that we should leave as there was a private party. Having previously told after 15-20 mins in cafe ythere’s a private party booked but we can stay till drinks were finished. He dismissed this saying we should have been asked to leave at 3pm (party start he informed) my receipt was 2:57pm. He said It says we close at 3pm on the board outside, sign was in an obscure place and they had removed Sunday close time. Realising we’d been there 30mins he backtracked we usually give people to 4 to finish … but not today . When i questioned what his colleague said “he would talk to colleague regards allowing us to finish drinks”.. need to work on notices/communication/tone Food great

It’s so refreshing to find a coffee shop that really cares about its customers. The baristas are friendly and welcoming, and make sure your coffee is made with love every time you go. They always have delicious homemade cakes that you won’t find anywhere else, and their chef is amazing - I’d particularly recommend the breakfast sandwich which blew me away. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing making it the perfect place to meet with friends for coffee or lunch, or to bring your laptop and get on with some work. I wish there was a Crow in every town!

Love this place. Since moving into the area 4 years ago, I can say for certain this is the best coffee shop in Crawley. In terms of coffee - the coffee is just.. chefs kiss*! This is what a coffee is supposed to taste/be like!

Great coffee, amazing service and great atmosphere. A chilled out place, perfect for a quick coffee stop whilst out with the dog.

They are also pet friendly, which I love.. you'd think with dogs being apart of our lives for millions of years that there'd be more pet friendly places around.. however that's not the case. Crow is the only advertised pet friendly café around. Love that they welcome all! :)

The only thing is, I just wish (and yes I know it's a coffee shop) they did a lunch menu just to top off the amazing coffee. Saying that I have bought quite a few homemade sandwiches on offer and they are just divine, clearly.. every sandwich made.. is made with...
