One word to discribe our experience today (12/10/20 at 7pm) DISAPPOINTING. Will never return!!! So iv been to this restaurant 3 times before. This was my 4th visit and boy it let us down on all levels. To put it simply I won't be returning to this place nor will my colleagues. Basically you have lost 4 customers who will not revisit nor recommend your establishment rather will encourage people to stay away. Not because the food is poor but the shear gamble you will play with your night out because you don't know what experience or food you will receive. Like I said on our previous visits the food was a saving grace but today was a nail in a coffin. Food: Our food was ready and was under the lamps to keep them warm for over 15min minimum. By the time it arrived it was dry, tasteless and just awful. We ordered drinks which were never served even though we asked for them multiple times. By the time the only server gave us our drinks we were done eating and dying of thirst and choking on the dry burgers. Myself and my colleagues ordered burgers which were all cold. Wings were lukewarm. The calamari was extremely soggy and oily most probably because it was not served fresh. The nachos was a joke it arrived with a bed of ready-made nachos with cold cheese on top, no salsa no guacamole no sour cream. We also ordered prawns which never arrived thank God. Service: the service was poor to say the least but I'm not going to slate the staff because this isnt the first time the lack of staff has affected the customer experience. There were only 3 staff members, one male front of house who was taking orders and helping with the cooking, delivering food to tables and completing take away orders. One female staff member who was helping with the cooking and plating food and another male whom I assume was the chef. I think the owner needs to look into to staff training with regards to providing good customer service and knowledge of the menu. Also for god's sake please simplify your menu because your own stuff do not understand it. I have uploaded some photos of the food we received the others I was not bothered to take pictures of such a disappointing night. For the management if you're bothered to look into this our receipt number was 3D-2849. We spent over £80. Finally it's humorous to say but we weren't the only people who were served poor food poor customer service today. A family was also visiting who ordered food which never was delivered and left disappointed.

Food was good service not so much. Before I start, I was well aware that you go to the clubhouse for the food. Facebook post and reviews geared me up for this. I went in expecting the dining area of the clubhouse to be the way it was. I made a Facebook reservation as I wasn't sure on the busy it would be (summer holiday, bank holiday weekend and a beautiful evening) which was confirmed. We made our way to the clubhouse, after some guessing we worked out the door held open by chairs was the place to go. We were greeted by who I am guessing was the owner and chef. He was very friendly explained the building was a work in process, I explained I was aware and came for the food. After a brief look at the menu we decided on the steaks. Reviews and other customers posted decent portions, decent cuts of meat, as this was a treat we decided to go for it. I went up to the till to order drinks and we sat and waited for food watching people walking the green and the cricket practice that was happening in the cages. Food was served and the chef left the building. I watched him walk over to the cages where cricket pratice was being held. My husband and I enjoyed our meal but it wasn't actually as filling as we thought, so we decided to order starters and some churros. At this point there was no chef, but there was a a guy sort of hovering around, who spent most of his time outside talking to friends and children. We tried to get his attention, I walked up to the till, my husband at one point did get his attention but was asked "you pay now?" My husband said "no, we would like to order more." This was ignored. In the end we got up to leave. Which he came in and we paid. Our bill came to £60 which for the photo that you see, no starters or dessert, a chef that just left so no other foods could be ordered. We were willing to spend more but wasn't given that opportunity. My work colleagues and I are planning a visit to the clubhouse (up to 10 of us) but after what experience I am tempted to say don't bother All in all we were pretty disappointed in our experience and the fact we are the first out of our circle of friends to visit the clubhouse we won't be giving a raving review to them or visit again any time soon

We came to this restaurant yesterday to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. We are not from the area, we are from London but stayed in a local hotel to get away for our anniversary. My husband was searching for restaurants and we decided to go here since we saw some good reviews. When we arrived the restaurant was practically empty but we didn’t want this to deter us from still trying the restaurant. The service was ok but the food was SO bad. We ordered the bbq chicken wings as a starter to share and they were pink and bloody inside. They also lacked flavour. It were as though they didn’t season it, and just chucked some bbq sauce over it. For our mains we ordered the sirloin steak (£35) and lamb cutlets (£25), the portions were incredibly tiny and only came with a tiny portion of salad which did not even taste nice which is ridiculous considering the price, you would think the main would at least include a side each?! The size of the lamb cutlets were an absolute joke. It were as though they got the cutlets from the lamb that was just born. If you don’t believe me, just look at the photos. We got fries as a side to share. The only reason I have given food 2 stars is because of the drinks. They were the only decent thing we got. If it weren’t for the drinks they would have got 1 star. FYI - we only got one drink each. When we received the bill, it was £85 and they still included the wings even though we complained! After removing service charge and the wings, we still ended up paying £75. ABSOLUTE JOKE! They didn’t even do anything special for our anniversary despite telling them about it. You would think an empty restaurant would at least try to make their only customers feel special. We could have gone to a high end restaurant in London for that price. I am a food influencer with a high following on instagram and I will definitely be posting about my experience.

I have eaten here before and the food was lovely and service was great. Unfortunately something has changed.

Me and 2 friends booked table for 3 last night and when we entered nobody acknowledged us for 5 minutes. We eventually asked someone and they showed us to our table. We weren't told whether we need to order at till or someone would come round to take the order. Eventually we just got up and went to make the order. The ordering was shambolic, the poor lad at the till kept forgetting our order and the pricing system is ridiculous. £10 for a burger (+£3 to make a meal), sounds reasonable. Except if you want to make it loaded fries its +£4 (just for some bacon and cheese) and a milkshake is +£6 on top of all of that! £23 for a burger, chips and milkshake, very overpriced! The pricing system needs to be looked at because it should be (as it is in most places) £3-4 extra for a shake and loaded fries.

I asked for a small shake but the guy charged me and gave me a large one for some reason.

Anyways the food arrived warm not hot, and one of my friends meals didnt arrive. There was then a massive hoo ha about what he ordered and a big fuss around our table as there was clearly some mistake in the order. The food itself was average, burger was dry, buns too thick and not even toasted so they were cold. Bacon in burger was rubbery as well. For a £6 milkshake i was expecting something special, but it was basically just Gelato and milk.

The waiter then came round twice 10 minutes after we got our food to ask what my other friend had ordered. When my friend eventually got his order, the boss was like you didnt order this but ill give you it anyway but will have to charge you more next time. The comment was slightly off putting and not very welcoming for someone who had never ate there before.

I was hyping this place up to my friends but in reality its just very overpriced now and not great food or service, I would have expected to pay that price in a grill place in the city, not in a residential street in Crawley. Bit...
