Our visit was a surprise party and the team were so brilliant and really accommodating towards us. They asked us if we have any allergies and it shows staff really do care for customers which is nice. The team are so friendly- on this visit and the many other visits that we’ve had to this restaurant, Every member of staff who’ve we’ve met or ever spoken to has always been super polite and kind and has gone out their way to provide incredible service. On our visit yesterday Andy especially was brilliant- he made a really great effort for us yesterday and it was really really appreciated and we’d like to say a big thank you for that. On every visit, Staff do come and check if you’re okay and if the food is okay throughout your visit and it’s really nice of them to do that and creates a lovely atmosphere. We had brought in a cake and the waiter (unfortunately I don’t know his name but such a nice chap who gave us great recommendations for drinks) brought it out after we had meal and it was really appreciated. Went to Wildwood in Crawley for my sister-in-law's 30th birthday. We booked a table for 12 people and requested two high chairs. My wife and I arrived early as we had a birthday cake, which the restaurant kindly kept in the fridge for us until we needed it after our meal. The table was seated for 12 and two high chairs as expected, but the staff had also provided the two babies with little masks (an elephant and a zebra lol) as well as some crayons and an activity menu. This we felt was extremely thoughtful and set the evening off to a great start. It wasn't long before everyone had arrived and drinks had been ordered. These arrived in a timely fashion and our food order was taken. Again, the food didn't take an age to arrived (not to quick and not to long) and was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal (starters and main) and the waitress then bought the cake out complete with candles (which they found for us as we didn't provide any). Cake was followed by coffee and we all left having enjoyed a great meal. I would certainly recommend Wildwood for groups, couples or if you just fancy a quick bite. We'll definitely be going back. Don't be put off but the rediculous one/two...

Massively disappointed with the whole experience to the point that I couldn't get out quick enough. I ordered the cobb chicken salad and when it came it looked lovely...until...I had a piece of chicken. The quality of chicken was not great but I understand it was chicken thigh. However, when I cut into a piece of chicken it was raw (not pink because of the part it came from) it was raw, cold in the middle, the middle was the same texture as raw chicken. When I went to give the feedback to the gentleman he was quite rude and said there is nothing wrong with the chicken..let me see...its pink not raw because its thigh. He said I can take it back and change it but it will come out the same, choose something different because you won't be happy. He whole mannerism was rude and argumentative. He did take it back and said there would be another one made for me. The other member of the party finished his food and mine still haven't come. 15 mins later...after I had more than had enough, my food was brought to me and guess what...the chicken was hot and cooked!!!
