The Raj Tandoori II — Restaurant in Crawley

Very Disappointed ordered £75 worth of food for a meal for my daughters 18th birthday meal. When ordering the guy on the phone was very rushed kept telling me to wait then speaking to someone else. When the order arrive we was missing a main course and a rice called straight away and spoke to someone else not the person that took my order. He didn’t believe that the order was in correct after going through the items we had a extra portion of tikka chicken he said “so do you still want me to send the missing items which I said yes .. he then said he wants the incorrect item back which I said I had opened so why would he want it back surely your not going to serve that to someone else ? He said he need to justify sending me the missing rice and the tikka curry .. i said he could have it back as it’s not what we ordered but that is disgusting that you would send food to someone’s house then ask for it back then serve it to someone else that orders later on … will not order form then again ruined our meal all the other food went cold whilst we waiting for almost 30 mins for the other items to arrive and the guy on the phone was rude and unprofessional have been ordering food from the for 10 years will now find another curry...

Wow... Where do you start... Who said the customer is king... Not at raj tandoori. Under age workers with a boss as arrogant as they come... The food is most disgusting you can imagine. The Floor, the ceiling where they work is black full of black smoke caught in dust and cobweb the barriers they is not long enough to cover it... Who knows what happens behind that wall. Risk of dust falling while preparing... Where is the hygiene... Where is Crawley Borough Council environment checks? Explains why all reviews are so low... And why I get stomach issues after their food... Customers beware what you order as they sometimes use old chicken. And Veg no concern about safety of customers. Owners... B&Q HAS SALE ON PAINT. Big fan of Indian food. Stayed overnight in hotel near LGW and decided to order from here. Ordering and delivery process where easy. Ordered the chicken tikka masala, pilau rice, garlic naan, and chips: no, no, no, and okay. Much too disappointed in the chicken. Under cooked rubbery texture. Took one bite and spit it out. Sauce was HORRIBLE. I wish I had seen another user's post before ordering because it had a baby food texture and the flavor was the furthest thing from what I would expect from tikka masala. The rice was not bad. The naan was good, but I paid extra for garlic and there was no chopped garlic present. Sadly, the rice was the highlight of this meal.
