The Anchor — Restaurant in Dacorum

Nice pub, but don't sit near the gents loos until they fix the extractor fan. This place has so much potential, but needs a bit of attention to detail... For example, my glass looked clean, but I could tell the dishwasher didn't tackle all the residue from the previous users lipstick. The place just needs a bit of love and attention and it could potentially be the best sports pub in Tring. Edit: just wanted to add, the fruit machines are not normal, they look out of place take up a massive area. Could quite happily get an extra table in there and have more places to sit for...

Friendly, basic boozer; relaxed and quiet atmosphere for a Friday and with a relatively decent selection of drinks. Furnishings and set up have improved since u first went in around 25 years ago, however still not "fantastic" by any standards.
