I have rarely tasted such a terrible pizza. Dear Sir or Madam, as you said that you don't take my review seriously and asked if I am a relative of an ex-employee (I would hope you don't have any ex-employees as you have only been open a few months) I thought I'd elaborate on my original review so that you can have some proper feedback and maybe improve your menu. I am Italian and have lived in Italy for 30 years so I believe I know what a pizza should taste and look like. Your Margherita Regina (Regina Margherita in Italian) pizza was completely covered with very garlicky and vinegary tomatoes which completely overpowered the taste of the pizza. Thank God I asked not to add the balsamic glaze as the vinegary taste would have been even worse. The mozzarella, which you described as bufala, was not stringy at all, it looked and tasted much more like if it was supermarket bought pizza than buffalo, soft and stringy mozzarella. My daughter asked for a basic margherita and, once again, had something that resembled a pizza from Tesco (no offence to Tesco's pizza). I have had a look at other reviews online that you have received and you don't seem to be able to accept any criticism well which is why I decided not to embarrass you in front of the entire table. The pizzas on your menu are nothing like Italian pizzas and all and every one of them have at least one ingredient that is not supposed to be there. I have been in pizzerias in Italy where they have the most varied menus and never, ever have seen bechamell sauce on a pizza, for example, or pumpkin sauce instead of tomato (you do seem to have removed that one from your original menu published when you opened). There is no need to reply to this review with more dismissive comments, but thank...

Came here for a birthday meal, large party, 10 of us, we were sat in a downstairs area with another big party, unfortunately that didn't start things great as it was really quite dark and dingy down there and we felt very isolated from the rest of the restaurant. Service wasn't great as was impossible to service unless someone came down (which wasn't often) one starter came as everyone else had finished, no apology. Food good, however the pizza was average not what, you'd expect, also no pizza cutter? Having to cut your pizza with a knife and fork felt a bit messy and was an inconvenience. Dessert was taken incorrectly, we had 2 extra, and the lemon posset was just not set, it was a liquid of lemon, we were told it was a fresh bath which is why they were runny, but surely just, don't serve them then? Would have rather not have had it. Deposit having a few issues during the evening, when it came to paying there felt an added pressure by the server to...

Cannot recommend, the pizzas are the best in town, generous sizes, fresh and flavoursome ingredients. Posh without the price tag and very attentive staff! I just hope they stay this way!!

Update 24/08/2022 - been a few times last year and has been good, however went recently after awhile - the Pizza is no where near as good as it was the base was hard to chew, the pizza tasted very tomatoey - and toppings & cheese majorly reduced compared to last year - I could hardly taste the Njuda which is arguably the best part of the Salsiccia pizza. I thought it may have just been me but my thoughts were mirrored by the rest of my party. Sad as I enjoyed coming here - review updated from 5 to 3 stars. Atmosphere is still good, staff on the whole were fine, although I asked to have parmesan on my pizza, my wife was getting ready to ask for some too (and you could tell she was going to ask something) but the waiter just zoomed off straight away without...

Tring High Street has long been in need of a high quality restaurant experience at a reasonable price. We are so glad we visited on their second evening of service. Sumptuous Italian food, impeccable service and a touch of class, without a hint of pretentiousness. They have a large gluten free selection which was perfect for my girlfriend and mum. Great authentic Italian food - we didn’t try the pizzas but they had fantastic pasta, fish and meat dishes. Can definitely recommend the fried risotto balls as a starter and the beef Ragu papadelle as a main. The menabrea blond lager served on Draught is an improvement and a welcome change to the usual Peroni sold at Italian restaurants. Brilliant espresso martinis and old fashioned after dinner too. Looking forward to returning with indoor service once the rules are relaxed, although the outdoor heaters and giant umbrellas were perfect for Covid protocol and the slightly colder weather

Really impressed with the visit and continuing the five star streak for the new restaurant in town. Service stands out as incredibly efficient and professional. Not a lot of small talk, but everything works brilliantly. The entire team is also incredibly talented, even when it was very busy. Food also very good indeed and more than a match for the service. They don't advertise the Gluten Free menu, you have to ask, but well worth asking as it's comprehensive and includes pasta! Wish they did pizzas too... But all the food is excellent. Nicely Italian! Wine list ok too. Well worth checking out. Highly recommended based on this visit.

Food and service 5/5 Table location 2/5 This is a really wonderful place to eat, with good quality options and great service. We came in for a birthday lunch and had a really great experience. I took a star off because our table backed onto a large window, and halfway through the meal the sun came out quite intensely and created a greenhouse effect for myself and my husband, with our backs to the window. There was no blind to give us any shade and at that point the restaurant was full so we couldn't move. I'm sure this isn't the first time this has been an issue, so installing some blind or other solution would be ideal!
