Princes Fish Bar — Restaurant in Dartford

Seriously, this place is never empty! I have been around the block and pretty much every kebab takeaway in Dartford, see my other reviews, but this here is easily the best despite being the newest post refurb. I am not just saying this because I live down the road!

I will start with two familiar kebabs, their beef doner and chicken, the beef is prob the most familiar, but just tastes higher quality, the regular chicken is prob the best all rounder.

There is another variation of chicken, which is from a skewer, this one is tougher but not bad.

But for me, it is actually about their burgers, these aren't just higher quality, they are completely different to others in the area! Their beefburgers are different from the others in town as they are actually angus, and they slap hard!

I have had the single and double, again these ones are tough to cook so for these I always ask them to do it well done for best results (I don't bother with such a request at any other takeaway). They then have this unique Greek Burger, admittedly their menu describes it vaguely, and I decided not to describe it here, but believe me it is worth it!

If you are looking for halal food, this place is not for you. Even fish is not halal as using the same tools to fry fish or other items. Quality is not great, will rate average. Does not look hygienic. No gloves used by staff serving/preparing food. I did not find how to answer the owners reply so auditing my review. I am definitely not the person you think, as I am totally different from description you gave, also its not nice to describe people on forums like this. There is difference between old and untidy place and yours is untidy with unhygienic working practice, that has nothing to do with place new or old you can always have hygienic practice although choice is yours. I last took food from this place some 3 years back, there was another guy, also from punjab, I know his name but will not mention. He told that he use different oil and equipment for fish. Sea food it self is halal, it's cooking practice, which makes it unsuitable. He even showed his freezer that chicken He use is also halal. I just want people know that sea food is not halal in this shop and you know it, then why so much annoyed if fact is told for...

The Best Fish and Chips in Dartford by miles !!! and I've lived locally for decades. Fresh chips, Fresh fish always, batter is just lovely, the best homemade curry sauce and the kebab is just great! I would not use Uber for this shop as they keep cancelling on the shop on arrival, the amazing owner kindly called us to inform us ( UBER still haven't let us know ) which is top service in itself, but went that extra mile and delivered our order in person so we didn't miss out their superb food !
