New Golden City — Restaurant in Dartford

I've used N.G.C. for well over 10 years now and always recommended it to friends and previously awarded it 5 stars for quality, value & friendly staff. However, my last two takeaways have sadly been well below par, one strike is fair enough... but two meals a few weeks apart says something different. The duck dish had just a few tiny pieces of meat, the fried rice dish was bland and more like boiled rice with liquidised chicken pieces and the coating on the grilled chicken dish was extra chewy like it had been over-cooked in a microwave. The recent price increase is fair enough, but only if the quality of the food justifies it, and I'm afraid it doesn't anymore, so I'm afraid I will have to try and find a new Chinese...

Ok ok we back again this time this place call new golden city after long fly home we need something to eat and we stop here to pick up some Chinese traditional food. And guess what i order spicy kung po and shredded chilli crispy chicken but it was sweet shredded crispy chicken ot wa no chilli at all. Also order us I said kung po spicy and I received it something else not kung po I this i something with chaser nuts it was not chilli not rea Asian spicy food it was fake . Sorry but not recommend this place at all if you order your food please check it before you leave otherwise you will be disappointed when you open it . Never ever back to...

I don't normally reviews. But have been using this Chinese regularly for about 2-3 months now! I've used loads and loads of different Chinese takeaways around the Dartford area, have used a couple of several times and it's always hit and miss. Until I've started using this one, I've had loads and loads of orders here. Atleast once a week, and ive never had a bad experience. The food is always so fresh, extemely tasty and generous portions. I wouldn't use anywhete else ever again! Highly recommend, also the prices are very reasonable as well. You won't be disappointed! Salt and chilli chips are the best...
