Up from suffolk for a little holiday with the family and after great day cycling the monsal trail we were all craving a curry. looked at the reviews for Aroma and thought give it a go, lots of 5 star reviews.... we love a curry and have high standards a know what we like and I tell you what we did NOT! regret choosing this restaurant!
Bloody amazing!! Chicken Bhuna was full of flavour and texture. The sauce was spot on in my opinion, not oily or thin- just spicey rich and fresh with a great aroma, the chef even made it a bit hotter for me but without loosing the flavour you get from all those onions and tomatoes
The Bhajis were big, airy and crunchy not at all stodgy or burnt Bhaji in sight, Im so glad I ordered two portions, so good!
Butter chicken was delicious and all eaten by the the kids and all the chicken was tender and not a single chewy or dry bit of chicken in site and not a single complaint- plates licked clean
Masala was fully of flavour and spice and was demolished by the wife who usually leaves loads for me to finish off..so maybe my only grumble ha ha
The rice was brilliant and not stuck together like a sand castle and the portion sizes for the whole order over all was very generous.
The Service from phone call to delivery was spot on and an absolute pleasure. This is the service you want and need when everyone's a little hungry and tired. Fast delivery, friendly staff, great value and above all quality food.
I wish i lived closer, maybe one day...this is a slight push on the scales for sure.
Thank you so much...

From the moment you walk in, youāre greeted with the kind of warmth that makes you wonder if youāve accidentally walked into your long-lost Indian auntyās house. The staff? Absolute gems ā friendly, attentive, and somehow always managing to top up your water just before you realize youāre thirsty. Witchcraft? Maybe. Weāre not complaining.
And the food⦠oh sweet curry gods, the food. Every bite is a love letter to your mouth. Rich, fragrant, and spiced to perfection ā itās like your tongue won the lottery. The butter chicken is so good it should come with a warning label. The naan? Fluffier than your nanās pillows. Even the rice tastes like it studied abroad and came back with flavor stories to tell.
Portion sizes? Generous. Prices? Surprisingly kind. Vibes? Immaculate. Basically, if you leave Aroma Lounge without a full belly and a satisfied grin, youāre doing it wrong.
A full five fiery stars. š¶ļøš¶ļøš¶ļøš¶ļøš¶ļø Would curry again. Would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe finally decided to give Aroma Lounge a go. Ordered for collection on a Sunday evening and it said it was ready in 20 minutes. In 10 minutes we got a text saying it's ready. Seemed very nice inside, pleasing aesthetic, and the gent who greeted me was pleasant. He went off to collect my food, came back and opened the door for me and said he hopes I take care of myself. Nice experience.
NOW for the food. Honestly, the chicken was very tender and just fell apart, nice flavours, and you can clearly tell the food was actually marinated as described on the menu.
Just for reference, we had 2x mains, 2x breads, 1 rice, and 1 portion of chips at just under £31. As expected really, and couldn't be happier with the quality of the food. So that's a bonus as you can pay that amount or more and it be terrible food.
What was nice was this morning (2 days later). I received a text asking how my food was from the restaurant, not had that before! But it was a nice enough gesture to get me to review. Nice touch.
We will most definitely...
