Visited here for an evening meal after seeing all the reviews for the homemade steak pie and the food in general. THEY ARE NOT WRONG!!!! Wasn't going to have the pie to start with, as we'd had steak pie the night before, but after the Hunters chicken and the burger were unavailable....we chose to get the pie and we're so glad we did. It certainly didn't disappoint! I had fresh veg and skin on chips, with a side dish of onion fries. Hubby had skin on chips and mushy peas. We wanted more it was that good!! The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and staff couldn't do enough! Lovely little pub bursting with friendly staff and food you don't want to miss!!!
