Great local park with many regulars, both dog walkers and families. Plenty of grass space, variety of ponds (just make sure you don't lose your ball to them) & accompanying wildlife. Some nice play areas too - there's some standard older equipment in the middle, but the newer 'cube' down near the skating bowl and the young-kids equipment near the café are in really good nick, and the kids love them. Nice café at the top too if you fancy a hot drink or ice cream to take out and have around the park. It's also worth keeping an eye out for events such as summer plays.
