DONT BOTHER THEY LIED Booked a party in the back room for 74 people. Phoned to make booking and wasnt even in the diary, luckily i went down physically to check. This could have been the first disaster as 74 people were invited. Then i was told it was FREE as using the bar. NO it cost me £80. So i was lied to & very upset as i already booked a DJ and food costing £600!!!! I would have picked another venue. During the party random people came in from the public. One women even started my buffet!!!! . I verbally chucked out five very drunk people throughout the evening.. Toilets were a mess. The room is clean & decorated but not for your taste if you don’t like shrovetide. Really not happy, the only saving grace was Annabelle who was very accommodating.. Was a sad occasion, attended here for a wake. The bar, seating and cafe area were all clean, a bit worn out looking, but comfy and relaxing. The toilets were rather grim, very old and could do with updating. An ok place to go, guess it is more about the event and the atmosphere than the total look of the place.
