Awful as always. Suppose it's my fault for continuing to attend my nearest McDonalds to home. It seems that the recent 'refurb' didn't stretch to an improvement in quality of staff and speed of service, amongst many other negatives associated with this branch. Yet again I had to wait in the bay area despite queuing in the drive-thru for about 15 minutes, about half of that time was spent waiting to get to the front window from the time I placed my order. Where do I start?? I suppose it's quite common to speak to someone who most likely has no GCSE's when ordering. But I suppose I have to be grateful this time the milkshake machine was actually working!! Almost a miracle when she said they did have milkshakes this time, considering the temperature outside broke the 15c barrier (which is often the excuse for the machine malfunctioning). However the one time when milkshakes are available they give it to you at the time of telling you to go and wait in the bay. Inevitably by the time they stroll out to eventually give you your food (it wasn't a complicated order) and getting home (I live 5 mins away) the milkshakes are like water. The food was cold. Again. Same old story. The 'large' chips were about half full. Go to the Dome instead as it is generally better in terms of service, quality and speed, though not a great...

Also another 2 customers complaining about cold chicken nuggets, the set up in the restaurant is something I compare to argos and it doesn't work, you order your food at the till and wait in a massive gaggle of people blocking the front door and main fire escape in the hope you hear someone shout out your number, only thing that keeps my anxiety from exploding (no personal space) whilst rammed into the middle of customers waiting for food is watching all the food stack up on serving trolleys going cold. Yet again another company who has paid millions to fix something that wasn't broken in the fist place. Read moreOnline order was cancelled because the driver couldn’t locate the address. It’s not that difficult. I made it clear on the instructions. I was even waiting outside, when the order cancellation notification came through. I went to webchat to try and resolve, because the mobile number for the driver went to a recorded message so I couldn’t speak with them directly. Webchat agent was rude. They said that the driver had ‘followed guidelines’, which were stated as “on reaching the delivery address they would attempt to contact the customer”. Neither of these things happened. The agent then said they wouldn’t be processing a refund and ended the chat abruptly.
As a customer that’s just paid for an order that was not received I’m left out of pocket and thoroughly disappointed at the terrible level of customer service. I couldn’t stand McDonalds myself anyway, but this order was a treat breakfast for my children. Won’t be spending another penny with...
