Not been for a while. It's a lovely park with various different play areas and lots of open space for ball games. The cafe is fab. Good food and reasonably priced. The staff are great and exrremely friendly. We pop in even if not visiting the park. My only gripe is the price of the icecream van. At £2.00 for a standard icecream cone or tub or £2.50 with a flake, it's extremely overpriced. Especially as it's only Mr Whippy icecream, not even a speciality one. Unfortunately as it's the only one on the park, it has the monopoly on visitors for customers. Next time i will give it a miss and take the kids to Iceland just down the road and buy branded icecreams at a fraction of the cost. Fabulous park though. Well worth visiting. Dog...

Sandall park is a lovely walk. I recorded a walking POV for my social media here in order to generate interest in this little gem. Such a nice place, often doing family events too . Strongly recommend, theres also excercise equipment too and best of all ypu can visit the wildlife and birds and many of them are a character in itself, would like to see something developed in the south easterly corner, as it once was a golf course now is looking like it needs tlc, bring back golf, or create more instead of dog walkers taking liberties walking off and refusing to pick up dog waste. The mindset of people just because one part is not thriving. Seriously though create something there, recommend a few laps around the park and lake...

Go most days with the dogs for a run/walk. The majority of dog owners seem to be responsible and manage their dogs appropriately. Clean, tidy and well kept. Brilliant, safe park areas/facilities for the young children to burn off steam, eating/picnic areas/tables to enjoy a picnic in the nice weather and benches positioned around the park to enable people to sit and relax. Lovely walk around the lake and different fields. Plenty to see including wildlife. Two good sized car park areas too. Friends of Sandall Park do an amazing job. Only criticism is for dog walkers who do not clean up after their dogs, please do so and for the very few who think it's ok for their dog to run upto you when your dog is on a lead to...

Did my 1st park run here. They turn out every Sat. I walked, but there were some whippets as well. The course is a nice one, if not a bit heavy going in places. Especially for wheelchair users or pushchairs. Great marshalling as well, giving directions & encouragement to all of us. There are public restrooms & a cafe. With a fitness & play area. The park is a dog friendly area too. Though if you bring them along to the run, they have to be on a hand-held lead. Not running free or on one of the run out leads. Also, any child 11 or under taking part has to be accompanied by an adult/parent.

Credit to Doncaster Council and FOSP. Well kept with an eclectic collection of plants and wildlife. I just wish people would respect this little gem more, just take your litter home, if you can’t manage to put it in the bin. There are plenty of bins available. Wonderful children’s play area, a café, plenty of parking. And public toilets, renovated by the friends of Sandall Park. The tarmac pathways are wheelchair friendly, and I must say it was well manicured. Thanks to Dmbc . I will be returning with a litter picker.

This is a really beautiful park, lovely lake in the middle, cafe, toilets (cafe and toilets close early, around 3pm) two play areas for children, lots of different rides, including a zip line, huge open spaces to play ball games. There are a lot of geese and ducks in the lake, you can't feed them bread though, they are friendly and do come up to you of you have food. Wonderful park for walking the dog as well. Plenty of free car park spaces both in the park near the cafe and on the main road near the play area.
