The customer service here is abhorrent, apart from the lovely bespectacled lady that is always at the height of politness. The young lass who took payment tonight didn't seem bothered about being there no please or thank you.
As usual when ordering the vegan option upon reaching the second window I was passed my drink and asked to wait to a bay for my meal. This was at 6pm. 20mins later another car pulled up in a waiting bay and then their order very shortly followed. It was at this point I asked where my order was as I had been there 20 mins. What I can only presume was the manager said that she was going to check and she'd seen me 10 minutes earlier, to which I asked why she hadn't come out to see why I was waiting but she either didn't hear me or she did but either way there was no response and straight back inside.
5 minutes later a staff member brought out my order. Checked it straight away and the order wasn't complete. Asked her to re do it. Waited another 10 minutes for the same lass to bring out the correct burger but by this point the chip were clap cold so I asked for more fries and the remaining dipper to be brought out and can she take the meal back to keep warm if it was going to be longer than expected. Another 10 minutes later I get my burger, and the fries, still no dippers, asked again for the dippers and they came out straight away thankfully.
No sorry or excuse me or anyway to apologise for their detestable customer service.
No such thing as a bad team, it's bad management that's the problem and someone's obviously laughing their head off somewhere because...
Read moreAfter a very long day I decided to treat myself to tea from maccies (as you do!). I ordered on the app which I have mixed feelings about. Firstly the allergen section is brilliant, Even the smallest ingredient had the allergens listed and it's perfectly done too. I find it really confusing going through the actual basket ordering bit but that's just probably me. So, my frustration today comes from the staff as I don't know how some people think collection ordering works but is your food not supposed to be hot on collection? The whole point of the app is they make it fresh on arrival when you check in.........whichbi did , I didnt wait long and I live 3 mins from this branch by car it cannot have cooled down to freezing temperature that quick. It was incredibly cold. It must have been made and sat while I went to other places before I collected. Even after I warmed it through it was just about the worst one I've had. And I was so looking forward to it. Yet here's my issue, I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago but went through the drive through and my supper was lovely? I think it could be that the staff could do with training on common sense. Yes I didn't have a bread bun but why feel the need to put the rest of my burger in a flat box so everything was scattered all over ? My only compliment today is someone had the sense to give me a knife...
Read moreThis McDonald's really isn't a pleasent experience at the moment. I've been here a few times in the last month and the situation has been the same. The capacity of the building, car park and staff can not accommodate or cope with the amount of people. The main issue is the delivery drivers (who are very task orientated and simply doing their jobs) using all the parking spaces and then gathering inside while they wait. They are incorrectly using the parking spaces for click & collect, so that process is also failing. Once inside the building, the shear number of delivery drivers then create quite a intimadaing atmosphere and take away any pleasure from the dining experience. I completely understand that they are simply trying to do their jobs, but can a compromise be found. I don't know why all the big fast food restaurants don't come together to create a kitchen and processing place somewhere on an industrial estate that can be there simply for the likes of Deliveroo, Just eat etc. Plenty of parking could be created along with a waiting area and facilities for the drivers. This is done for Amazon etc, why should food be any different. Let the restaurants be restaurants again, I'm sure the staff would be a lot...
