Red Tomato — Restaurant in Doncaster

Ordered on Thursday 23rd Aug at 21:34. Usually receive great service and very nice food from Red Tomato. Ordered Meatball Linguine and Beef Burger with Bacon, Cheese, Onion Rings, Lettuce, Tomato Jalapeno and Cajun Sauce with Fries for collection (as we were not at the registered card address) Cooking time was 25 mins and when I collected at 10pm everything was ready for me, and service was excellent as usual. When I arrived home I found that the burger was completely plain. Phoned Red Tomato and was offered the choice of a free burger with my next order or a replacement sent out by delivery which would take 30mins (about the same as another round trip in the car if I collected). Chose a replacement burger as I'd not eaten since lunch but by 11:30pm this still hadn't turned up. Gave up and went to bed pretty disappointed as well as hungry (didn't eat the plain burger because it was pretty dull and cold by the time I'd finished...

Ordered on a weekday waited over 2 hours for our food, bearing in mind it was only 1 pizza! Food finally arrived after our hunger had passed... STONE Cold and as hard as slate. We've ordered from here so many times and only had a handful of bad experiences but this takes the mick. They were hardly apologetic and only offered 10% off our next order which is in no way acceptable since we paid £16 for something we didn't even eat! We will now be looking for a new place to order from because they quite evidently don't value anyone's custom with the lack of apology or recompense offered. Not only did they come over an hour late, deliver nasty cold hard food but they also knocked (which we asked them not to) woke our little girl up and then continued to talk ridiculously loud even after we asked them to be quieter. After being loyal customers for over 3 years you'd expect more of an apology and attempt at making...

The food was not what I was expecting, having been led to believe that Red Tomatoe was the premiere pizza place in Doncaster. The food was late by 45 mins. It was not hot. I did not get the chips I ordered. I did not get the extra tomatoe base I requested. I found it difficult to differentiate between the pick and mix selections. Every pizza tasted almost the same. When the food was delivered, the delivery man was told that there was no chips, Has had been requested. He gave us the money for the chips and returned some time later, when we had finished eating, with chips. Sorry red tomatoe, I could have spent £40 at any of the pizza take aways and still wrote the same...
