Subway — Restaurant in Doncaster

Honestly held off giving a review on this store, on the few previous occasions we have visited they were waiting for renovations, and in the middle of the renovations. During the renovations they were still open and serving even though there was dust all over the floor from the various building works. We hoped it was just a blip and gave them leniency.

Today's visit the staff struggled with a family sandwich order having to clarify after asking for each individual item needing to be added to the bread. Then they proceeded to toast two of the sandwiches while making the third. Took these out of the warmer and left open on the side whilst other one warmed and proceeded to ask us for the cash payment wearing the same gloves he was going to use to add salad to the sandwiches. Needless to say we didn't get any salad items added.

He then poorly wrapped the sandwich, gave them to us, we sat down and two of the sandwiches were already cold from the toasting process.

We will not be returning as they just don't seem to have the correct food standards that I experience in...

Visited today and received the worst customer service from the 2 staff members that work in there. Got snapped at by one person serving, when I asked if they had certain salad "No!, we haven't had that for ages" Like I'm automatically meant to know this and I had the audacity to ask. Just unbelievably rude. I've not visited Subway for a while, but on past experiences of purchasing food & drink, I've always been asked if I want it as a Meal Deal. It had completely slipped my mind they did this. It was only after I had paid, and my friend was paying for his food, he asked if they still did Meal Deals. "We've always done Meal deals!" Was the sarcastic response he received. I commented that I should have got a meal deal too, and i completely forgot they did them, to which I was snapped at the staff member "you didn't ask for one!" It's a shame because there was an older lady who used to work in there, who was just fabulous, very friendly and polite, and generally just a lovely person. Abysmal customer service. I waited patiently whilst 2 people were served in front of me. I was then told she would just be a minute whilst she started an online order. 3 sandwiches and nachos. Told I'll just be a minute again and did another online order 4 sandwiches and more nachos. She then starts a third order at which point i say im actually on my way to work and running late will you be much longer please. She stopped looked me in the eye. Did not respond and started another online order. She didnt say just a couple more, or finishing an order or anything. My enquiry was ignored. How long are customers expected to wait before they get served. I expect the common decency of a reply when asked how much longer i have to wait. Especially when i informed her i was on my way to work and already running late. Due to her ignorance i left and went...
