Edit; in response, your voicemail said nothing when I ordered online - your webpage was more than happy to bill me though.

Your voicemail when calling to ask about my order simply said the caller is not taking calls and not taking messages.

More than happy to post the recording of the 6th attempt to call your shop if you want to continue blaming me and not taking accountability - not even a hint of an apology in your response.

There was no information, notice, implication or explicit warning that your shop is closed until the 12 Oct Or that you would not honour the order until then despite taking the money today.

It's quite inconvenient spending out only to have to spend again and being frustrated by not actually being able to contact anyone.

The review stands as a warning to others to check your holiday times as your payment collection app and voicemail do not actually mention this.

If I could give them 0 stars I would.

They took quite a lot of money off me and yet have neither delivered the food nor will they interact with me to explain if there's a delay or if the food is even coming in the first place so I'm ordering from somewhere else.

I ordered food over 4 hours ago I know they won't take my call but they have taken my money which I am charging back through the bank.

Massive letdown can't be bothered to talk to customers they don't even have a telephone number where you can get through to the branch.

I hope your business model gives you the success that you're setting yourself up for...

This was our second visit to peckish, we first went in it’s opening week. We were looking forward to a rotisserie restaurant, the first visit saw us waiting for ages due to a broken rotisserie meaning the chicken was over cooked on one side but we were happy to over look this as teething troubles in a small business. The vegetable side dishes were tasty, but we found the gravy to be bland, with the overriding taste being ?corn flower. So with these disappointments we decided to leave it a while before returning. So last night we tried again, I got confused by the menu (it had been a long day) but the first items on the menu were for Sunday only which seems a bit odd. The wait was less than last time and there were no issues with the equipment. Again the veg was tasty, the chicken wasn’t overdone but was a little dry and the gravy was again bland with a cornflower taste. The service was good, the people were pleasant and the food overall was ok but I don’t think there will be a third visit, which is a shame as it’s such a good...

It depends what you want really. It's convenient, handy, the staff are friendly and efficient. The food is a fair price, but mediocre.

Over cooked chicken (so rather dry) and slightly under cooked potatoes. The peas and carrots were a touch overdone, but that is to be expected.

To be honest, I will probably just throw a chicken in the oven for 90 mins next time. (Added after response from Owner) An interesting response, I've never had such a pointlessly combative answer to a review.

Not sure what I like? Implies that I like over cooked chicken? Well, OK, if you think it aids your case to play the man rather than the ball, that's your choice.

The bottom line is that I gave an honest opinion of your roast chicken (which I have eaten) and you gave an opinion on my roast chicken (which you have not tried).
