If price is all that bothers you fine. For me the rudeness bolshiness bad manners and unhelpful attitude have totally appalled me! In The Kent Bakery Company "the customer is alway wrong". The food quality is acceptable with some twang of cheap ingredients. I'd buy there every day for lunch but I just can't stand the absolute absence of any customer service. I've been in approx 15 times in the last year and each time I've left unhappy and insulted and my husband has experienced the same. It's such a shame because the produce is excellent compared to the over priced garbage they sell in supermarkets, however, this bakery is only open 4 days a week and then randomly shuts on other days with no change to their online hours and no notice anywhere on the front of the shop saying when it will be open again. The staff also need to have some urgency about them, especially when the cue is stretching down the street. I have never seen anyone take so long to put a couple of sausages in a roll. Also watching one staff member constantly scratching her armpits while preparing food was enough for me to decide not to use this...

Owner/manager Stewart is a complete waste, brought some Swiss creamed buns from them as they are nice, however yesterday one of them had a FLY stuck under the icing and it can be clearly seen as a FLY as the wings and head were still sticking out, i took the bun back to them today and STEWART completely destroyed the fly with a knife still claiming it was a sultana and throwing the remains out the door when told to look at it.
