Regularly order a takeaway from this fantastic local restaurant. The food is exceptional always hot, full of flavour and well balanced spices. I have tried many in the area over the years but Chinnar is our favourite. The curry is thick and wholesome nice pieces of meat or fish depending on what you order. I have tried many on the menu and every dish are cooked to excellent quality. If I could recommend a dish I think it's called jigglaziz or something similar on the specials of chefs part of the menu. The flavours are out this world. Great food great customer service equally good delivery. I rate this a 5 star restaurant. Number 12 your regular customer

Why do u feel the need to keep complementing this restaurant. I ordered Sunday evening and received my food promptly. Tandoori mix grill starter was every meat lovers dream. Also, a lovely veg side. However, the fish did seem a little different i cant emphasize how tasty their food is. My wife's actual words was "mmmmmm I needed that" giggle giggle. The best curry house anywhere. We've tried enough to know, and hope to come here for another 15 years! Our sons come home from Sheffield and London for "a Chinnar" (both have good curry houses and none are anywhere near as good). Their friends used to hold how many times we'd brought them as a badge of honour. The food is always fantastic. The Chicken Handee was the best dish ever until they added the Kashmiri - that is just fabulous. Both are big enough for two. The tandoori special nan is rightly named. The bhajis are perfect. The staff are lovely, lovely people - they are clearly proud of what they offer and always make sure customers are happy. We love going (and having deliveries!). What we call a Family Chinnar is ridiculously inexpensive. This is a good opportunity to thank them and say to expect us...

Had such an amazing meal tonight. Staff really friendly and so attentive too. So surprised how quiet it was to be honest, on a Friday eve. Decor a little dated but that doesnt matter for me it was clean and tidy which does matter. We were served poppadoms and onions without being asked or charged. Asked for extra dips for poppados which were delicious. I had the chicken kahrai oh my goodness wow it was amazing it was so tasty and the tarka dhal a little spicy but delicious. Hubby had chicken jalfrezi did it was nice. We also had mushroom rice and cheese and garlic naan. All food was piping hot and freshly made. So cheap too obviously being able to take own drinks makes it a lot cheaper than other restaurants. Left over food packed up quickly without issue. Thanks...
