Rainbow Palace — Restaurant in Dudley

Rainbow palace is an outstanding restaurant. We have been using them for over two decades but sadly not as much recently since I have become vegetarian, and also due to the pandemic. Yesterday, I ordered a takeaway of mixed vegetables in satay sauce with five sqewers of mock chicken. I don't know how they make their satay sauce but OMG, it is incredible. The best I have tasted in my lifetime. And that has been the case for the past 20 years. Even though I can no longer enjoy satay Chicken I now have the option of the mock chicken Absolutely superb. My advice to anyone who reads the only 'one star' review that the restaurant received from a certain 'Joanne Hall' is to ignore it. I have checked out this ladies other reviews and she seems to take pleasure in rating vitually every venue she visits with one star. One wonders whether it is the establishments that are at fault or herself? I have my own opinion. I'm sure that you will come to the same conclusion. Thank you Rainbow palace for the amazing food you produce. You are a bright star at the moment when all around is bleak. See...

I recently ordered takeout from Rainbow Palace, a Chinese restaurant located in town. Instead of having the food delivered, we decided to collect it ourselves from the restaurant.

The staff at Rainbow Palace were friendly and welcoming upon our arrival, and we were impressed with the cleanliness and overall ambiance of the restaurant. We placed our order at the counter and were given a rough estimate of how long it would take to prepare.

The wait time was reasonable and the food was freshly prepared upon our arrival. We were pleased with the quality of the food, as it was flavorful and delicious. The portions were generous, and we had enough for leftovers the following day.

One thing that stood out to us was the attention to detail in the presentation of the food. Each dish was carefully arranged and looked visually appealing, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, our experience with Rainbow Palace was positive. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was of good quality. We would certainly consider ordering from them again...

Thought we would give this place ago as we hadn’t been in for a good 5 years, well all I can say is it’s got worse. Still shoved in like sardines in a can, food was bang average, service was ok. The fun bit was the bill, £15.50 per head for food x 4 people £62.00 that’s not bad.we did order 2 extra portions of chips but they never came and we didn’t get charged for them. Now the best bit, £36 for drinks!!!! We had in total 2 glasses of wine (£5.50 each) 2 large Pepsi (only one price in the menu £2.50 each) then 2 large apple juice and 1 large apple juice with lemonade, neither of these drinks in the drinks menu but after deducting the other drinks from the £36 charged leaves £20 for those 3 drinks???? Obviously I questioned this, I was told the large apple juice is £5!!!! You want, £5 for a large glass of TESCO apple juice!! What a joke. Well all I’m saying is, if you come here it’s worth having I think your drinking choices rather than having a shock at the end as the price of drinks isn’t what’s in the menu and also massively inflated Tesco own brand...
