Road House — Restaurant in Dudley

I ordered at 7.20pm and didnot receive my food till 9.20pm. The food was delivered 1 hour late but order to delivery was 2 hours what a joke. I called when the food was 20 mins late and I was told it will be with me in 10 mins but clearly they did not have my order ready. After another 20 mins I called back and was told my food was on its way and should reach me any second. After another 20 mins I called for the 3rd time and all I got was apologies and told they were extremely busy and they would sort me out some extra next time. They could have easily gave me some extra on this occasion as I spent nearly £40 and waited 1 hour over my delivery time, also if they are that busy and can not cope with the demand they should have cancelled my order or called me to explain it will be an hour or so late at which point I would have ordered from somewhere else. Me and my children did not get to eat our dinner till 9.30pm which is unacceptable. The food quality it decent from here but on this occasion it was cold and all 4 burgers when opened were squashed and ice cold the kebab was decent and so was the pizza but again cold fries. I have ordered from this place a few times everytime the food have been decent but every time they are missing stuff from my order and when I call I am told I will be sorted out next time but I never have been. On avarage I spend between £40-£60 there as I have a large family but after last night's experience I will NEVER order from there again. My mates and I came here after a night out, we arrived after midnight and were honestly greeted by such friendly staff, we asked for extra toppings and they added them without an argument or even charging us. If feel we are always so quick to complain but I feel I must give credit where credit is due. I would recommend this to anyone without a doubt, not just for the great service, but also because do the great value for money, we got 2 x 12” pizza for only £13.99, cheaper than what we were actually suppose to be charged £14.99 (large and extra-large are buy one get one free) they had a huge menu from kebabs to chicken to pizzas. Personally I would not give this place a star let alone recommend to a friend. My order was placed at 8:30pm My food arrived at 11:00pm, I called twice the fist time being at ten and was told my order was being sent right now, I googled how long it would take to get to my address it stated 14 mins, at 10:45 still no food so I rang again and was told the driver had left and it takes a good 35 mins to get to me which I thought was hilarious. When the food arrived it was soggy, like it had been sitting in the drivers car for a while the chips where also stone cold, all I can say is if you want rubbish and cold food then please waste your hard earned money here!
