Lived here 49 years and never ventured in due to its reputation, however, having seen the renovations being done through lockdowns I decided to give it a go this weekend .... I wasn't disappointed! Pleasant seating arrangements, bright and airy. Owner Pete and bar lady, Ann, were very friendly and helpful. Walk-ins welcome with full table service. Good selection of ales and gins, quart selection of ales also on offer. They serve cobs which looked lovely and if anyone remembers the old skittle alley that used to be downstairs, well, this has been turned into an Ale bar with a definite authentic Peaky look and feel. I will definitely turn soon.

nice little pub, clean and friendly. toilets are downstairs, so there is a bit of a to do if you're not to gain on your feet. Bar staff - pleasant and attentive. Very nice beer garden. parking bit of pain. Didn't see any disabled access/toilets, so I can't comment on this topic. Food. Didn't eat here, so , again - can't comment.

Brilliant beer garden, excellent pub layout and parking available locally. Had a great sausage roll and pork pie to accompany my beer which was brilliantly kept fresh and crisp. Bus stop right outside which doubled up as a smoking shelter 🤣 Great pub

A strange little red man by the name of Simon followed me into the bathroom and tried to remove my clothing, I politely declined his offer so he started screaming “ the pain “ over and over again, then a small boy charged into the bathroom and deposited a xl pack of Morrison’s finest Saudi sausage rolls in my back pocket. There was a few hairs in the food therefore I will be returning shortly. 11/10 would...

Lovely pub with attentive and efficient staff. Pub is very clean and tidy and everyone seemed to be keeping to the covid rules. A great selection of pints from black country ales and a smashing cob. Prices are pretty standard for the area, so reasonable. The big pluses for me were a quiet tasteful background music, a friendly atmosphere and a good pint. Will...
