Saving grace was helpful staff and a refund, letdown was two atrocious servings of mauled steak! £14 for "gourmet" steak & drink, first was anaemic, raw and mostly gristle, also unannounced flavour coating! Sent back to the kitchen, second steak also came out raw and it looked repulsive, and no sauce. My partner ordered the pie main, and was disappointed to discover it was kiddy sized also half inedible, gravy boat bigger than pie. but he ate what he could, because he's a bloke ... Won't be back for food in a hurry!

First time visiting the William shenstone even during the new measures are in place for covid 19. We had a wonderful time. My only gripe is I had the mix grill don't get me wrong I truly enjoyed it. I don't like beef would they allow you to have an extra piece of another meat that's on your plate? The staff where wonderful, polite, and attentive. Continually cleaning and making everything just right. Will definitely be going there again.

A very dull old fashioned atmosphere yet somehow still manages the classic look which is nice to admire. Breakfast was good, well presented which you don’t get often get at other wetherspoons. Appreciated to say the least. Staff friendly too lots of seating but very few parking spaces just opposite the building.

I was in there this morning with my mother Mrs and child, my mother has very bad back issues. I went toilet, she asked the MANAGER! [BLONDE LADY] late 40s I'd say for a baby chair for my kid to sit on in which she was told 'yes you can grab them yourself from around there [pointed]' the cheek of her to not help her or offer assistance so I came back to my mother carrying it [barely] I ran over and said what are you doing and grabbed it and she told me the women told her to grab it so my mother assumed it was her duty to grab it. She should be ashamed of yourself not offering to carry and saying she can grab it herself. Would never spend a penny In there again based on the...

I must say, I am truly upset with my experience here today. My partner and I came here for a light lunch expecting the typical spoons experience. We were GOBSMACKED of how delicious, fresh, and tasty the food was. It came in a timely manner. The waitress was pleasant, friendly and informative. She even apologised for the 2 min wait on table service!!

When we arrived. There were ample amount of tables, on a Bank hol Monday, and the place was still vibing.

The floors and table weren't sticky and we left in disarray, having enjoyed this much more than a typical 5* food establishment.

Just shocked! It's ruined all other Wetherspoons for us as we now can't go anywhere...

Editing my review as I've been in quite a lot since I initially posted and this is my go-to spoons now whenever I'm in need of a good brekkie or a local lunch out with my brother or a pint with friends who are scattered across the west midlands- mixed crowd goes from your established locals to some of the graduated college kids from local areas from what I can tell- couldn't fault the staff there they're wonderful, and the food is gorge especially compared to some spoons I've been in in London! Bathrooms are lovely, garden is a bit small though never any trouble getting a...
