Antioch Restaurant — Restaurant in Dunfermline

We were looking for a new local Turkish restaurants like the ones we used to get in North London, with that awesome tender charcoal cooked lamb. We found it, this place is bang on! Great service and proud chefs, we arrived without a booking but that did not seems to be a problem and where swiftly seated and served! We got a small plate on the house to try one of their new dishes and it was AWESOME! The chef came out to ask what we thought.

We were on the fence about going but once arriving so glad we did!

Parking, you can get on street parking outside the restaurant after 5pm Disabled access, ground floor and no steps, should not be a problem We didn't book but I think we were lucky, seems like the kind of place that gets booked up quick so be safe and book (bookings can be made through the site. Vegetarian, yes they have a large number of Vegetarian dishes and they look good! More variety than your average Turkish restaurant.

Certainly will go back and take a walk through the park next to it to get...

Being honest here and not rude just telling the truth but its far to expensive for what it is ,went here for our anniversary and got mixed sharing platter £45 anyway it came to £85 with 3 cans coke i wanted to question the obvious mistake but it was our anniversary and didn't want to cause a scene the lady who served us just assumed we didn't want our change she was nice enough but just stood by the bar didn't ask if we needed more drinks etc didn't like the atmosphere one bit i don't think it will last in dunfermline, chicken was dry but to be fair lamb was nice and no turkish rice in a Turkish restaurant, not for me I stick with...

The staff were excellent and very attentive.. turkish sauvignon blanc was lovely 😍 unfortunately the food was just ok..... having visited Turkey/Morocco and tasted authentic dishes in the home country.. beautiful presentation.... I would have liked more flavours to the food. Ie not enough garlic and lemon in hummus, falafel was dry and without flavour... chicken kebab needs marinated..... prawns and sauce were great!!!!! Nice bread basket but possibly more variety.......Don't assume that everyone in this country wants bland food.... celebrate Turkish flavours!!!!!!
