Costa Coffee — Restaurant in East Cambridgeshire

Turned up just after five on a Sunday, said they can not do a coffee as they cleaned down. It says close at half five not five said to the staff about changing the time so you don't have anyone turn up asking, they both started to argue back saying they cleaned down can not do anything nor change the time on Google. So before doing this review I changed the time on Google for them to stop anyone else dealing with the problem I dealt with on this day, I probably would have forgot about it but as they both wanted to argue why they don't serve customers 20 mins before they shut. Understand everyone wants to get home but I'm sure they don't finish till six so gives them half hour cleaning after they shut, better customer service wouldn't go a miss here as I've been in Costa near when they close and...

This Costa is a much better choice if you are only out for a coffee and a bite to eat as it avoids all the hassle of parking and walking here. This Costa benefits from a huge well kept car park with many dedicated disabled bays. The entry door to the store is manual surprisingly and to be honest the door is quite heavy. Other than that wheelchair access is good and seating is wheelchair friendly as well. There is good clean toilet facilities with a separate disabled toilet. Food and drinks on offer are of the usual high standard that one would expect from a Costa coffee. We visit here a lot as it's just around the corner from home, and have always found the staff to be helpful and polite. Drinks are well prepared, wait time is usually low and there is ample seating available.

That said, it's worth noting that at the weekend it can be extremely popular around mid-morning, presumably due to proximity to the cinema, swimming pool and sports club. It's not uncommon for there to be no seating available, queue from the counter to the door and a ~10 minute wait for coffee around these times, even with 4-5...
