Costa Coffee — Restaurant in East Cambridgeshire

Hadn't come into this Costa in a while (complete changeover of staff), came into today just for a coffee and a sandwich for breakfast, the lady serving me (is apparently maternity cover manager) was absolutely lovely! We need people like her in locations like this. Management in cities like Cambridge are so focused on turnover that you don't truly get to feel welcome in chains like this - the manager at this Ely Tesco branch was not like that. This lady was swift with my order, offered all options and extras available (didn't partake this time, have a bus to catch) without feeling like they were being thrown out at you, asked how my morning was going and was generally a welcoming and lovely individual. Can't fault the staff here they are wonderful. The service is great and speedy even though it gets very busy at times. The staff remember my coffee order as i pop in several times a week after work. The coffee is always great. The staff are always helpful and often offer to carry my tray when my son was little. When he was sick from coughing too much they were so kind and made no fuss. This is a much the same as other Costa outlets located in stores. Usual selection of drinks and snacks available at an over inflated price. My only criticism of this Costa is it's not so easy to negotiate your way through the seating area if you are a wheelchair user. Tables and chairs make the going a bit tough.
