I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bumble and Sea, a fantastic restaurant located on Exmouth Beach, and I must say, it was truly a delight! The restaurant boasts an incredible view of the beach and the 4 miles of golden sands that stretch out before it, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal or a hot cup of coffee.

The coffee and cakes at Bumble and Sea are truly exceptional, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the delicious homemade cakes, which were perfectly moist and full of flavor. The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable, providing expert recommendations on the best coffee to pair with your chosen cake.

But it's not just the food and drink that make Bumble and Sea such a fantastic spot - it's also the incredible view. The restaurant overlooks Exmouth Beach, providing a stunning panoramic view of the golden sands and the sparkling sea. It's the perfect place to unwind and take in the natural beauty of the area.

Overall, I would highly recommend Bumble and Sea to anyone visiting Exmouth. Whether you're looking for a delicious meal, a hot cup of coffee, or simply a breathtaking view of the beach, this restaurant has it all. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and the coffee and cakes are truly exceptional. I can't wait to go back and enjoy another delightful meal at...

I have had coffee and cake from here a few times and the service has been mostly great. The coffee is never hot but recently after a walk, we purchased from here again. The coffee was lukewarm. The queuing system is great for the covid restriction, in that they have a bell at the bottom of the steps to usher people up. Due to the queue, I asked the customers if I could jump to sort out my purchase. Once to the top of the stairs, the staff addressed me and told me to go back down, when I told them that I was there to exchange my coffee, they still told me to go back down. No apology, just a bossy command. I am not an unreasonable person so to be spoken to like that was uncalled for. When we were finally served for the 2nd time, they replaced our coffees, but we were treated like we were an inconvenience, no friendly attitude. The replaced coffees were hotter than before, but I could drink it down in one go so they were not hot enough. I won’t be ordering from...

I went today to this cafe with my husband and we were very hungry and wanted to have something to eat we ordered 2 mozzarella sandwiches out of stock! Ok let's have some steak nope out of stock. Ok let's go for tuna and melted cheese! Sat down to eat them... Oh dear dry burnt stale bread with dry tuna.... £7 per sandwich awful!

So went back said to the lady this sandwich is stale and dry!No its not its fresh! Ok I said well would you eat this as I opened the sandwich? Don't have a go at me she said! I'm not having a go at anyone I'm merely telling you I'm unhappy with my sandwich. I will give you a refund offline? Offline? What does that even mean? It Will take a couple of days... Right didn't take card or say sorry for her shocking attitude! Customer service...

This is great place to stop for a drink, situated at Orcombe Point which is at the far end of Exmouth sea front it enjoys an elevated position which affords any customer a spectacular view of the bay of Exmouth. There is a wide range of beverages and food that you can choose from so everyone should find something to love. The staff on duty were very quick to serve and were also very friendly and completed my order without a problem. There is ample car parking all along the road leading to the cafe and if you are travelling by motorcycle like myself you can park just below the cafe on a large open space where you will also find plenty of seating against the wall as can be seen in the photos. Bumble and Sea is well worth a visit.

Simply had takeaways: tea, hot chocolate and black coffee (not strong enough for me) but café gets 5 points for serving drinks in compostable paper cups 👏👏👏 Flapjack type cakes looked good. TIPS. Strictly cashless. High up on the cliff with access via steps or long ramp. At far end of beach at Orcombe Point, Exmouth, meaning 10+ minute walk from public toilets. Good plant based + kiddy options. #diaryofamuzungu #travelblogger

It’s always worth supporting independents. Those that find the nook and cranny of opportunity and provide an offering that can’t be found elsewhere. Great cliff side coffee and pastries sold at the end of Exmouth promenade. Taking care of the environment with their fully compostable cups! Start with a coffee and walk the length of a glorious beach. Friendly people, happy dogs, a wonderful stretch for the soul! Thank you xx
