I was really disappointed by the way I was treated when I politely asked to use the toilet due to a medical condition. I showed my urgent toilet access card, which is designed to support people with hidden disabilities and continence needs, but it was met with confusion and what felt like a complete lack of understanding. I was looked at as if I was speaking a different language. I was told there are “plenty of toilets on the beach front,” which is true—but when you have a stoma and sometimes need to kneel to empty a bag, public toilets aren’t always suitable or sanitary for that kind of care. It’s not about convenience, it’s about medical necessity. I do understand that access to staff toilets isn’t a legal right, but I would have expected a little more compassion. The staff member, who appeared to be around 18–20, didn’t seem equipped to respond with any empathy. At that age, I know I would have tried to show more care to someone clearly in distress. I hope this encourages better awareness and training around invisible disabilities. Not all needs are visible—but they’re still very real. The food was good but I felt it was delivered to me as if I had been a major inconvenience.

Came across this place while on holiday just as was closing but was still more than happy to serve us. So many flavours to choose from and loved every one we tried, ended up coming back every day. Staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and plenty of seats outside to sit and enjoy the view. Plenty of people having a variety of things from here although we stuck to ice cream. Will definitely be our first stop on our next holiday!

Nice place to people watch while sipping on your latte. Everything is fast service food, hot drinks and ice creams for something to munch on while walking along the beach. My coffee was average at best, and the service was quick. Plenty of people buying things from here, mainly ice creams and pasties though. Might not be the best place to go in the winter, but ocean views and ice creams make it worthy of stopping

The staff here were so friendly and helpful. I follow a dairy free diet whilst breastfeeding my little one with possible CMPA. When I asked if the bacon bap was dairy free, the girl behind the counter got another member of staff over who advised he could make it dairy free and took the time to show me the packaging for the bread. I really appreciated this gesture; seeing the ingredient list yourself takes away the anxiety when eating out. Not many places go that extra mile! We will...

This is the 1st ice cream vendor that has ever asked if I have allergies. He then pointed out those containing egg (my allergy) and proceeded to change his gloves and get a new unused scoop as well as ice cream from a tub that had not been with the other flavours. I was extremely impressed. He also asked my friends who had no allergy the same. Usually wherever I eat out o have to ask if anything has egg or point out no coleslaw or mayo as a side dish on salads etc. The ice cream...
